With a rugged face, long, black hair and green eyes, Dimsdale could be considered fair, even by other races, if not for his abrasive personality.
Biography
Hailing from a clan hold along the Spine Of The World, the constant struggle for survival turned Dimsdale into a pragmatist at an early age.
Having faced frequent skirmishes from the various orc and goblin tribes that infested the area, he had many seasons to hone his understanding of warfare while serving as a conscript within his clan's militia; his excellent aptitude for siege warfare and defensive tactics being recognized as an asset by his fellow kinsmen.
Having eventually finished his mandatory service as a conscript, Dimsdale opened a smithy within his clan hold and started a family, but things turned sour.
He finally sold his smithy and abandoned his wife and clan hold to pursue a career as a mercenary along the sword coast.
The many seasons within that career field, combined with his pragmatic approach to life, would eventually skew Dimsdale's Dwarven perception of "Honorable Tactics" to accepting "Whatever Gets The Job Done."
Occasionally, faint glimmers of the pristine, honorable Dwarf that Dimsdale once was, can sometimes be seen.
The lure of coin and prospective employment, would finally lure Dimsdale Bonecleaver further South, to Baldur's Gate.
