Power blows not working with rapier/shortsword.

So it doesn't say anything in the tooltip about it, but Power blows does not seem to be working with rapier or shortsword, and just guessing but betting all the "dex" weapons.

Is this a bug or intended and just not documented?

If you mean Power Attack then it does not work with a light weapon, nor is it supposed to. It's supposed to work with Rapier and it definitely does with small races.

I wondered if it was not suppose but I could not find anything that says that Power Attack does not worth with light weapons. Bleh guess that +4 Shortsword purchase was not really in my best interest.

Seriously, any interest in a Chainshirt +4 or a Tower Shield +4? I have both, and would like to to trade them for something more useful to me. Such as a short sword +4.

Power Attack works on two-handed weapons, which if you are a medium-sized char, rapier and shortsword are on-handers.

It does work on one-handers, it's just that the bonus is halved.

When two handling weapons you get the 1.5x bonus

Yeah I just never saw anything that said it didn't work on all weapons. I have a very very nice rapier I was hoping to use. Guess I will have to make another toon!
