Physical description:
Seharan is a tall, obviously half-elven woman, standing at around 6 feet and 2 inches. She has long auburn hair, hazel-colored and almond-shaped eyes, and short, but pointed elvish ears marking her half-elven heritage. She is also usually perceived as having other markedly ‘elvish features’ such as high cheek bones, tall stature, no body hair, and a slightly coppery tint to her skin. When her skin manifests freckles in the spring and summer, they are a shade of pale green. Her hands are decidedly those of a working woman’s, rough and sun-worn from working in the fields.
She is often dressed in sleek, elven style leather armor when going out on adventures, sporting a longbow and a quiver on her back. She also wears a variety of belts with pouches for herbs, and a sturdy leather backpack that have various items for camping strapped onto it - water bottle, more pouches, a tankard, a bowl. When not adventuring she prefers longer, simple dresses in natural colors and will often wear simple pieces of jewelry - at most 2 or 3 items at a time. She often has dirt under her nails, and often smells of various herbs, fresh dirt and her dog, Finder.
Psychological description:
As a druid, Seharan attempts to keep her inner life in balance, gracefully accepting of chaotic moments and tries to keep with the flow of any situation - opting to bend like a blade of grass to the wind rather than stand her ground like a boulder. Owing to her multi-faceted heritage (and trying to keep a balance in herself), she can seem downright split down the middle. Acting slowly, but meticulously like her elven parent like she has all the time in the world at some times, waxing wise poetic as fit for an elvish druid at some times, and at other times she is just as she was when working the farm/inn her family ran back in Silverymoon - an ordinary human wine farmer with an ever-positive, deeply practical-minded and down-to-earth country girl attitude. She is curious, and adventurous, but often has a single-track mind that goes down rabbit holes - obsessing over the current interest or project. She is known to drift in and out of conversation or accidentally stare at people in deep focus about something interesting on their person. This behavior is also often caused by her frequent bouts of insomnia.
Religious views:
Seharan is a druid of Chauntea, and hails from a wine farm herself. She works with farmers and other people who work in agricultural professions like shepherds, beekeepers, tanners, weavers. She offers them blessings and prayers for crops and livestock, but also acts in a very practical capacity in diagnosing crop diseases, advising on grain storage best practices, and helping with difficult lambings and calvings.
From her work with farmers, as a farmer herself and a druid of Chauntea, she has gained a deep respect for the “common folk”. “They make all the food,” as she says, and it is a big priority for her that their lives are made easier by effectivizing and thinking smartly about how to work the land.
Seharan puts emphasis on Chauntea as the primordial lifegiver, mother figure of all living things - from plants to people - and as the source of bounty. She gives a monetary tithe to the church, and views money as perhaps the most effective means to an end. Money can buy livestock, spare seeds, pay for maintenance of buildings, new tools etc. But for all that she works to make farmers’ lives easier, she remains aware that certain effective agricultural practices are harmful to soil (excessive tilling for example) and will discourage any initiatives that would permanently damage the land.
As a druid, she is willing to work with people who she disagrees with for the best possible outcome for her clients. The material outcome is the most important in the end, and if people’s bellies are full, she is willing to bend the truth or a rule to get there. She does uphold certain taboos - like never harvesting a plant without asking it first and expressing gratitude and never harvesting on someone else’s land without permission.
She also makes use of Chauntean dogma to form a personal mystical philosophy that dedicates her to always growing and changing and nurturing. She is known to have said “If I am the same me as I was yesterday, that means I have stopped growing, and if I have stopped growing, then I might as well be dead.” This philosophy also drives her to seek out new experiences and see new things and meet new people.

History
Seharan was born on the outskirts of Silverymoon proper, where her human side of the family had lived for generations working the land and growing the grapes that were used to brew ‘Silverymoon Blue’. They lived in a big farm house that doubled as a local tavern for the local populous. Seharan worked as a serving maid in the tavern, and on the farm alongside the rest of her family. Here she gained an interest in alcohol and brewing and different kinds of ales and wines. Seharan’s mother, a wood elf from the High Forest had traveled to Silverymoon years prior to her daughter’s birth - struck by wanderlust - and brought her sister, Rua’don, with her. They both fell in love with, and settled with human men - Seharan’s father and uncle - living on the farm with them. They never did manage to set foot in Silverymoon proper more than once or twice - complaining that all the brick housing and city noise “made their ears ring and their teeth sing.”
When Seharan was young, it was quite apparent that she was going to grow to be a sensitive and worldly child, picking up Elvish more fluently and quicker than her brothers, always befriending the animals on the farm, and commanding flocks of crows with treats. When Seharan was ten, her mother and aunt decided to leave the family to go back to their native village in the High Forest - and insisting on taking Seharan with them, so she could receive appropriate Elvish cultural education and live with the other side of her family for some years - always intending so send her back to the farm some day.
She lived in her family’s Elven settlement the better part of a decade (although Seharan stopped counting) where she developed her knowledge about Elvish culture and religion, learned about a nature she had never known before, and learned Elvish to complete mastery. She had grown up worshipping Chauntea as farmers do, but in the High Forest she was taught by her grandmother, a druid of Angarradh in her family’s traditions and rites. She also learned Sylvan and Terran during her time there - as many feyish creatures and primordial spirits were known to dwell in the area, and it was thought practical and respectful that the other inhabitants learned to speak with them in their own language. She never intended to become ordained into her grandmother’s circle as she knew she could not stay in the High Forest forever, but she knew that she wanted to become a druid.
When Seharan was 23, she left High Forest, saying goodbye to the life she had known for many years. She was ready to pursue a life as a druid to Chauntea back at home - the goddess she grew up with, and that way she could earn a decent coin by helping out her old neighbors and family friends. The day after she got home, she set out to the local Chauntean temple, and asked for tutelage by a druid. After a year of labor within the temple, she was finally taken under the wing of a druidess named Meela who brought her into the circle and taught her. She was initiated as a full member when she was 26.
As she started working as a druid in the surrounding area, and living back at the farm with her human family, she realized that her stay in the High Forest had changed her so much that it felt impossible to settle for living at home anymore. She was too different of a person ultimately, and was eager to find newer, greener pastures. After only three years back at home, she roved out with her dog, Finder (so named because he was good at finding lost things), in search of a new place to call home - walking through High Forest to deliver the message to her mother, and walking down the Delimbyr to the Sword Coast, and eventually reaching Baldur’s Gate where she is now.
Future
She wants to settle down in the Heartlands, and start a family, and a farm, and (if she finds time) make a name for herself in the temple to Chauntea, and the region in general. Perhaps start her own brand of wine.
