One year has passed since Drem left his relatives back in the Dales to journey in the Sword Coast...after several months he had finally reached Baldur's Gate harbour.
As he first stepped in the city, his thoughts went to his uncle Urgo, High Priest of the Sly One in Shadowdale.
Orphan at the age of eight, Urgo has raised the child in Baravar Cloakshadow fervor, as his own son...even more since Frabo, his son has caught the Illusionist way.
Urgo naturally turned to Drem when the Dales Cell of the Sly One decided a cell should settle in the Sword Coast.
Here he was at last, hoping to find many of his kin to help in his entreprise.
....
As time passed, Drem has met some local figures such as Eric Lightbringer or Grunga Ironfaar. He even had the honor to meet two of the Ironfaar clan leaders, Zinzibar and Korgoth.
Pleading for their support and protection, the leaders had granted those to him and his fellow gnomes as long as their projects remained nobles but the Ironfaar stood firm: no gnome enclave will be built inside the dwarven hold.
Drem kept looking around the city for any talented gnomes in order to help each other and focus on a common project: the building of burrows for the community...Ironfaar clan had offered help in the matter as well.
Now he was left with the practical side of thing: Gold!
Since then he tries to save all gems he find to pay for the material and workers needed.
Soon he'll prospect the surrounding areas and ask the Ironfaar clan for any adviced place to build their shelter. Spending time among the Ironfaar will also be the occasion to learn the dwarven language...so he might be the link between the two communities...May the Sly One help him in his work!
