Just going to throw this out there, in case there's anyone like I was; and playing on the server, but considering what it would be like to build for the server as well.
Well you should.. :)

In the past i'd tampered (ok that's a lie, I'd spent many many hours) around with the toolset in my spare time, even making a campaign to post on the vault. (which i never completed sadly, due to my campaign spiraling out of control- too much for one person)
However, over a month ago I thought 'what the heck', I'll send the Dev's a message and let them know I'm available and happy to build for the server.
A little over a month in now and I've already got two areas that i've done IG, with a further 4 looking to go in over the next week or two (revamped Nashkel and a soon to be added floating pontoon that links to roaring shores). It's strangely satisfying, although I wont lie to you... it's also quite time consuming.. but then my logic there is, it's no more time consuming than if I were playing the game instead.

I'm also proud to say I'm working alongside Knightmare, who is one of only a handful of people I knew of in the nwn2 community, prior to joining the server. There's some real talent involved in the team bringing this server to life and I'm proud to be a part of it.
This message is for those of you, who think you might have what it takes to join our team and make a world. 8-)

(you just need to be creative and have an imagination.. something I'd dare say 95% of you already have. Also, obviously some toolset experience will save you some frustrations as well.)

Peace. :)

Creative Writing
Conversation and Description writers. Will be asked to work on everything from npc and quest-related dialogue to item, placeable and creature descriptions. Must be a mature writer with a firm grasp on the proper usage of spelling and grammar.
Well I'm writer by trade so if you want some help here feel free to send me things to work on :) I'm also very interested in area design but I'll need to put some serious time into the toolkit before I could even consider applying for that kind of responsibility :P

hi my name is Richard lester my account name is Azuchireserves.

im by far not the most skilled or experienced bu i have lead the creation and completion of a fully working server for nwn1 (never launched) and i have a basic ability with scripting and i am able to create simple mechanic scripting weithin conversations area triggers and tekeport scripts.

i think im more suited to a support rol.e but i also have the ground work for "work training" if desired.

havinf managed the creation of a mod myself i am fully aware that a good working team is most important to development and i am always willing to do my best.

If you are still looking for some building builders, I like to spend some times on building those. I could send a demo of an old building I've done.

I mean making the interior of buidlinds. Like exemple to build what the Chapel of Doron Amar looks like. Like the Elfson Inn, it's interior building.

I'd love to make areas for BG. I have areas ready that I made for another server, but it shut down before I could get them added. I can send you SS, or the mod. to you if you like.

Sending over samples of your work is always a good idea, send a PM to Luna or to me and I'll post a link in the staff area so people can gawk at them

You guys still looking for coders? I find myself with a little time on my hands, and would be willing to write some code for the server. I believe Luna is already familiar with my abilities.

Hi, my name is Jacopo, and i'm a 26 years old italian mapper. I write also for my brother Eugenio, that soon will registrate on your forum as "Euge_the_mage".

I'm sorry for the errors in this message, surely my english is going to be better as soon as I continue playing on your beautiful shard.

I read a message last night, at the logging in, in wich you says that you're looking for people that are able in creating beautiful and full detailed maps: me and my brother are what you're looking for.

We have a lot of material, created during a year of hard work for a personal italian project that, unfortunately, never started.
It was based on Forgotten Realms, and the sword coast, indeed.

If you are interested, even just in see some of ours material, contact us at [email protected] .

As I say, it's all material that we created by ourselves using the custem contents and the BCK files.

Let us know.

Sincerely,

Jacopo and Eugenio.

You can always drop an erf into a file sharing site like dropbox.com and paste the link here. When one of thr design gurus will take a peak if theres time. Just pick a couple areas you like best. Try to keep file size small please abd remember BG may not use all the haks you use and placeables will probably be mapped wrong. For the most part they want to see your texture/shading ability.
This has "No Saving Throw" written all over it...

Hi again, thanks for the answer. Just three things to be honest and evitate misunderstanding:

1) We prefer sending some materials directly to the responsable of the shard, and we don't want to share the areas on dropbox.
2) We have 3 areas to show to the staff as examples, that are a gift, in wich you can see how we work. Maybe by e-mail, could be a good method? You can keep them, of course.
3) Here you are a few screenshots about some of our works. I hope you' ll enjoy them.
