Question of future gods?

Hi there! New player here! I love your pw so far and look forward to experiencing even more of the lovely rp that takes place here.

Now onto my question.

I was wondering when if ever gods and godesses that are not currently part of the setting will be introduced, let me explain. I wrote my character as a follower of the Red Knight, but later came to find out that she is not actually part of the servers lore yet, this in and of itself is not really a game breaker for me as Her portfolios exist amoungst the gods who are her pnp allies. But it leads me to wonder when, if ever she may be introduced into the game and if perhaps players will have a role in it.

Now selfishly as this question relates to me, i am mostly curious about the Red Knight herself, sorry for you fellow demi-power fans out there!

So to conclude, are we likely to see the introduction of my favorite goddess into gameplay? Will it happen as some kind of DM or world event? Will it be part of a closet update? Will players be able to have an active role?

The server moves forward at a rate of "one server year to one real life year." So far there have been no big time jumps or time skips, and the current server year is 1348.

If we're still around in 10 years, we may well do something magnificent for the Time of Troubles, which is the event that will introduce a bunch of new gods. Or we may time skip to it (or past it) at some point in the future. Who can say?

Either way, there's no immediate plans to introduce new gods to the roster of the divine.

In terms of the Red Knight in particular, the working theory is that she is an exarch of Tempus at this time. (Or possibly an exarch-in-training). She may have a handful of worshipers, but she does not really grant divine powers, except in that she might act as a conduit for Tempus--whom she serves.

If your character were to follow her, he or she would likely pray to Tempus as well as to her, and treat her as one might a saint or a bodhisattva. I hope that makes sense?

While it is to bad that she wont be introduced any time soon, you answered my question quite well.

So to clarify, it would be alright for my character to be a follower of the Red Knight, provided she was worshipped as an Exarch of Tempus without a clearly defined ritual like true gods?

That is correct. As Duster notes above, there is a shrine to the Red Knight in-game, inside of the Temple of Tempus.

She is very definitely subordinate to Tempus, and represents a narrow field within his much broader portfolio of domains. At least in this time period.
