Description/ECT:
Rose is a beautiful young woman with a soft, gentle voice that tends to reflect her caring and loving nature. Her laughter is said to warm the hearts of the broken, some call her a fallen angel. As a follower of Ilmater, Rose vowed to never kill a living creature, and has devoted her life to healing and helping those around her regardless of Race or Sex. Rose never wears armor and will never wield a weapon against anyone.

There are only three exceptions to Rose's vow...
1) The threat/creature is pure evil
2) Rose will fight if her very close and dear friends are in danger, in which case she fights to save them, but never to kill.
3) If one dares threaten a child.


BACKSTORY:
Rose Kross was born in Keltar, Calimshan. After birth, her mother gave her an enchanted blue rose, given to Alison when she married. The rose is not only a symbol of her mother's love - it is the inspiration behind her name as well. Rose's Mother was a Priest for the Temple of Ilmater, Her father a First Mate fisherman/trade merchant.

One September day, around Rose's 4th birthday, her father Archer was to set sail to Baldur's Gate with a supply of fine wines and ales. On Archer's journey to the North he sailed into a fatal storm. The ship, Marose, was bombarded with waves for three days. On the fourth night the Marose's hull gave way, sending crew and cargo to the mercy of the Sea of Swords.

After a few months with no word on her husband, Alison decided to head north to search for him. She asked the High Priestess for a blessing. Alison, with 5 year old Rose, packed up what little they had and set off north. For a while the passage was quiet and calm with no real dangers, stopping from time to time and resting. After 3 long winters of traveling they came to Mosstone, only to find out the road north had been taken over by bandits. The only way past The Small Teeth was by boat, or, to take the long path West. Alison and Rose, now 8 1/2, traveled northeast to Murann in hopes of finding a boat. After inquiring with many a captain for safe passage, only one man agreed. A fisherman named Salty Wade offered to take them to Athkatla, Salty Wade was an old time drinking buddy of Archer when the two of them used to be ship mates before they both set off to make their own crew.

After landing Alison and Rose thanked Salty Wade and bid him farewell, setting of to the West to Crimmor. After about a month of traveling Alison and Rose began to run out of supplies and money. When they came to Crimmor they decided it would be best to stay to resupply, Alison and Rose began by making potions and charms selling them to locals and travelers. Though even then they never turned down helping the people, and due to helping so many they were not able to save enough to keep traveling for about 5 years. Finally with enough cash and supplies they left heading North over The Cloud Peaks. Unfortunately as they began to travel up the mountain they some how lost the trail and wandered aimlessly though the snow covered tops for months, finally then found their way down. Cold, hungry, and with almost nothing left they made is to Nashkel were they were able to stay for a little and resupply. A few days before leaving Nashkel Alison began coughing, at first it was nothing but then it got worse as they past though Beregost. Alison began coughing up blood by the time they reached Baldur's Gate, Rose was now 15 years old. Alison search for nearly a year and a half looking for her husband before a Merchant at the docks finally told her. Alison finally lost the will to fight a couple months after Rose's 16th birthday he mother finally died, the cause was Tuberculosis.

Rose stayed in Balder's Gate following after her mother she became a Cleric of Ilmater. She always hated violence and grew up learning how to be kind to others. Now she begins her life in Baldur's Gate.

Rose travel South to the Friendly Arm Inn, sitting out side she meet a kind elf Nicknamed by her Kyo. For some reason everything around Kyo within 5 meters seamed colder as the rain turn to snow. Kyo and Rose shared stories about where they were from and how the two of them ended up in this land. Sadly the also spoke of how their parents died. Rose then said her goodbyes and turned in for the night, maybe their paths will cross again.

After a long night Rose awoke having traveled to Baldur's Gate, she found herself running in to a man sitting at a bench at the campfire. He was trying to gather a group of travelers to head into the deepest part of the Mines in Clockwood. Soon after Rose joined him by the fire many others flocked to him. Shortly after they left Rose headed out to Friendly Arm Inn. When Rose walked up to the fire she ran into Kyo again. After a while of the two speaking again Rose began to grow worried about the group and Kyo offered to check on them in the mine, Rose decided to go with him to make sure they were ok. Soon after entering the mine they found the group and everyone was fine Rose's worry went way. After talking to them for a little they went on to finish their business and Rose with a new piece of mind left with Kyo.

Finally Kyo and Rose ran into Perro, A halfling friend of Kyo's, and soon talk of hunting evil Orcs in The Woods of Sharp Teeth. Rose not wanting her friends to get harmed wanted to tag along with them to keep them safe. After a while we found the cave were the Orcs have been hidding, Kyo, Rose, and Perro began clearing out the cave untill a demon touched Orc got the best of them. With Rose and Kyo down, Perro found a way to escape. Soon after Perro ran into a Dwarf named Lucian, with a blaze of glory Lucian and Perro took down what few Orcs were left standing and carried the bodies of Kyo and Rose out and bring them back from the brink of death.

A few days later Rose runs into her Gray Orc friend again, Miss GrayFang. GrayFang normally can be found sitting out side FAI giving away supplies to travelers.

Rose Kross - "Why do you do this, sit here and give this away for nothing?"

Miss GrayFang - "I do this because I want to, everyone thinks Orcs are evil or cruel, I want to show them that not all Orcs are like this."

Rose understands what she is trying to do and understands her pain. Soon after the two sat and talked about their past and travels, helped each other in little ways. On the way back to FAI Rose runs into a group she knows on the Bridge crossing the river,
Buurk (half orc)
Julindra (the Gypsy)
Knifes AKA Noodles
And an Elf (whos name I Forget)
After a short while of talking and catching up we moved this little gathering to a pond near The White Mask Theatre.

As soon as we got there Buurk jumps right into the water and starts making bubbles in the water, but then he got an idea. SPLASH Knifes and Juli!! With Buurks power he easily greats a huge wave that get them both soaked, Rose is laughing so hard at this point, the faces of the two can only be described at.... Priceless!!

Shortly after Buurk tries to sneak up on the Elf, but of course he easily spots Buurk, the Elf decide to ignore Buurk untill... Buurk throws him into the water! Now everyone is laugh and Buurk is rolling around on the floor cracking up.

After everyone has settled down, we soon started sharing stories of were each one was from. Buurk tells everyone of moving "Tower" in the forest of were he was from. This 100ft. tower walks though the forest looking for something but non of the Orcs know what its looking for.

At this time its pretty late and everyone is all wet. Rose tells everyone she must leave now and takes off with a smile and a wave. Off to the Inn for the night.

Rose continued to wander the roads helping all that she can. Heading toward Candlekeep Rose spots a strange light just to the south. Wondering what it might be Rose move closer to the coast only to run into a large group of warriors.

Just after showing up all hell broke out as creatures started walking out of the sea, their faces cold and lifeless, eyes sunken deep in the skull, at least for those who still had them. As the fight began pale blue-ish flesh was being torn from the undead. Rose was to shocked to move, but then she remembered she had a job to do! Rushing in she began healing all who were hurt.

Suddenly the ground shook as giant bug like creatures climbed to the surface. One Warrior gutted one of the beasts only to have 2 badly eaten bodies drop to the floor. Chasing the creature to the far side of the sandy beach before the ground shook again.

This time a Hell-ish one eyed creature that looked as if masses of flesh have been thrown together. (Beholder) Rose was to far off to do anything and hoped everyone was ok, that's when she saw Buurk cutting onto the beast with his powerful Great axe. Two had fallen but not long after so had the monster.

Rose rushes over trying to help but falls to the ground as it began to shake again, Fire shot out of the ground spreading into a hellish wall of flames, beyond the wall looked of devils or demons, out stepped a huge red horned creature Fire blazing off of its body. Horns as sharp as the fines blade, Eyes glowing with a hell-ish laughter as it began to attack.

The Warriors began to fall, Rose knew what she had to do. In a fine display of team work and power the group had sent the beast back to once it came, and Rose went to work healing the wounded. The group finally finds a cave were all this evil was coming from. Very few warriors charged in to brave this fight, and soon the cave began to shake. The roof was coming down! Finally two of the warriors burst forth just as the cave is sealed off. At first everyone is happy, at least until they realize that Buurk was not there with them. Buurk had run into the cave but never came out. Some started to say "A warriors death." others cared not for the Half Orc, Rose was near the point of tears, Buurk had been her friend. Before anyone could mourn the rocks block the cave began to move, some ready their weapons. Then a knock, and Buurk's muffled voice. Buurk was alive, with the help of some of the other Buurk managed to push a huge rock bigger then himself out of the way. Walking out with a smile and a limp the job was done.

Most left right after others sayed and buried the dead. Buurk, Apotheosis, and Rose had finished buried the bodies and the three were of to Friendly Arm Inn to rest. Apotheosis took care of Rose though the whole battle protecting her. After all was done Apotheosis tried to hold Rose's hand and walk her back to FAI. Rose had no clue what Apotheosis was doing for Rose is a complete virgin.

Apotheosis asked Rose of she was "Single" but Rose simply said she doesn't worry about love for she has not the time, Rose spends most of her time at the Orphanage helping look after the children. Apotheosis then asked if she could help as well.

(((First off I would like to say sorry for not being able to keep this updated, there have been some events in my life that does not give me a lot of free time and as such I have not had the time to update my forms. I'm going to try and update it from time to time but mostly major events.))

Updates:

After an eventful run in with some foul play, Diana Vol found herself nearing the End of her adventures, Luckily with then Help of Lexa, Vino, Yori, and others Myself included Rose was able to bring her back during this event of suffering, Ilmater took forum Placing a hand on those around for their deed, Rose included. Rose now has a ring touch by Ilmater Himself, it glows a faint blue off of her at all times.

Rose now travels Speaking to all the Ilmateri, Assisting anyone she can along the way, in hopes to help all she can. After returning from her trip to Keltar to ease her grandfather's passing she is focusing now on bonding together all the Ilmateri stronger then before. She hopes to create a Hospital/Church/Order of the Unhindered Path.

<i>Setting out Rose is not looking for her Old friend and protector, Thedran. She hopes to speak with him about getting permission to have Free pass in and out of the Ophanage.

After her trip to Keltar to help her grandfather though his last days she found herself locked out upon her return. Thedran now holds the key between her and the Children.
