The cloakwoods where quiet, the lizard-folk no where to be seen, and even rats where fleeing. A party found themselves attacked by strange creatures made up of the corrupted forest itself. Vine horrors, mounds and even undead treants attacked the party. Facing an onslaught of the corrupted forest the party pressed on.

Vala saw it first, a Hezrou, a demon like the blood that runs in her vains. Dark magic flowed around the demon as the forest was slowly corrupted. She froze even as her party was being attacked. She begged the demon to spare her, but he only grinned. The only loyalty in the chaos of the abyss is won with power. The Hezrou threatened to take the teifling to the abyss to show her, before attacking. Vala first ran, but saw her allies in danger and put away her fear to attack. A fierce battle was waged, even losing the Demon only grinned and promised her that he cant die, only be sent back. As the battle was finished the Hezrou promised Vala he be back for her before falling to the ground and quickly becoming goo his soul sent back to the abyss.

Over the past thirty days Will-o-wisps and nightmares seem to be at an all time high. It all started when the Alienist that was left to live in a past event came to vist Knives, thats when attacks in mass came to the FAI. Black masses showed up from time to time acting as portals for abberations. Any who touched the mass had his mind attacked. A powerful dispell was needed to destroy them.

Nihm was given a OCD counting type of madness after picking up an alienist artifact, luckily after being seen counting leaves in the forest she was taken to Bently's wife and cured. The Flameing Fist champion was killed in a fight with a mind flayer. A griefing Bruiser was killed the next day after his mind was taken over and forced to protect a black portal, his son took over his patrol. People where burned alive, sacrificed to portals and creatures that drive a normal man mad. The alienist seem to have little regard for there own or peers lives, one such Alienist collapsed as she was covered with nerve eaters, the small tadpol like creatures fled her dieing body and had to be burned.

After many attacks, hints where given, parts to a larger story. A mother who wanted a child was spoken of, as was collecting the energy Will-o-wisps feed on in all the attacks and horror. It seemed the Alienist wanted to use such energy to pierce the Far Plane and and birth a Half Farspawn.

Finally it came to an end, as a group was invited to the Alienist home to put and end to the song and dance. Each floor and room was a battle, abberations and cultist everywhere. The party had to fight themselves a number of times as the madness slipped in. After room filled with horror after horror, and a voice mocking them along the way they mad it too the top. There the mother sat, and citizens died in front of the party from tortures the party was too late to stop.

Mad as ever, the mother told the party of all the energy she gathered, however it was all for nothing. Mystra's cut the Far plane off years ago, and the magic seemed impossible for the cultist to pass. The Mother couldn't help but laugh at all the dead and damage done for so little, she reviled to the party that she already allowed nerve eaters into her body, and was ready to die. after a hard battle, the mother was finally dead, and large amounts of energy where let loose. Will-o-wisps swarmed on the energy in massive numbers in a feeding frenzy till it was all gone.

Mini event- Night of many hunters

As the moon grow over cloakwood many strange hunters started to attack the adventures. Snakes, spiders, hydra, worgs, and even Manticore all found themselves hunting the plentiful lizardfolk. The group of young warriors was lucky to survive the night.

Ghost of the Mountain

Mayama, Igneous Ironhide and Virr Churr where training at the foot of the Cloudpeak mountains when they ran into ghosts. While seeking aid a Nashkel guard told them of rumors that a ghost haunted the Mountain after her wagon was attacked some week before. The party decided to climb the mountain and see for themselves.

As always the Mountain climb as perilous and made even worse by spirits attacking them, they found a destroyed wagon and followed a trail to whoever attacked it. The higher they got on the mountain the worse the monsters and undead where, but they pushed on. At the top of the mountain sat a pile of dead, and a very large and powerful Frost giant. The giant nearly destroyed the party when a ghostly voice told them to try again and healed them.

Image

As the frost giant fell to the cold ground they found the corpse of the woman they where looking for, a ghost hovered over her own dead body. The lost ghost spoke to them, it told them even after her revenge she still felt empty and lonely. She wished for an escape and even suggested the Wall of the Faithless be better then as she was now. Failing to calm the ghost down she attacked the party with powerful magic. The party barely managed to avoid a death on the mountain, and killed the ghost. A long and somber trip back to Nashkel they reported there findings and where given a reward.

The experiment -
Image
A woman ran out of the cloakwood sick and tired, coughing blood, begging for help, she did not live long, saying the word Talona as her last. Laitae, Celestia and Lilith decided to investigate the woods, to find all manner of vermin where attacking. While in the woods and defending themselves from spiders, bugs and rats they met with a few others and traveled deeper into the woods finding a portal where the vermin where spreading from.

After reluctantly traveling into the portal they found themselves deeper into the woods and attacked by not just all manner of vermin, but plague zombies and ooze. In the choas an elf approached them, seeming once again sick and coughing blood. He seemed deathly ill and the party feared a Cotangent. The elf begged for help as he slowly died in front of them, the party was trapped in indecision while the elf chocked to death on his own blood.

They soon set sights on a man who seemed dark and slimy, after watching the man the saw oozes form and break apart from his body. With some battle crys the group once again where in combat, the oozemaster splitting into more oozes as they battled. Shortly after the oozemaster they found the source of the undead, a powerful necromancer with a love of Talona. Another harsh battled took place, and the necromancer was not above asking the aid of a devil and vampire. The party suffered some losses but managed to live and pressed on.

A tent sitting on a hill and a man in leather and a face wrap awaited ahead of them. Movement could be seen under his armor, and bugs crossed his face. He explained he was simply testing new poisons and and plagues when one of his "Raw materials" escaped. He suggested it was time to move on, but the party attacked him before he could leave. He was quickly defeated, but the bugs that lived in his body where not happy and attacked the nearest thing to them, in this case the masked man known as Izzirk, as he died Latiae tried to help him but was soon covered in bugs herself. The bugs attacked her flesh and dug there way under her skin.

Selengil turned Laitae to stone to spare her the pain. A cleric of talona walked up calmly and collected a few examples of bugs from the dead around them, the party looked at him confused when he offered to take the bugs out of Laitae as well. Selegil did not have stone to flesh spell ready, nor was the party ready to trust a cleric of Talona. The man teleported before the party could become hostile. The party then set fire to the tent and plague ridden corpses and made there way home.

-Aftermath
Laitae was taken to candlekeep and moved to an area warded against bugs, the bugs died right away however a number remained in her body. Selengil had Laitae held down and started to cut the bugs out of her while she was still conscious, she was healed before bleeding out and dieing from the trauma.

Snakes and Swamps-

Liam the Oozemaster found knives and begged her for aid against another follower of Talona, a Blighter with a love of snakes and poison. Knives agreed and gathered a party for the trip, while Liam tried to keep is anxiety of people down. Eventiulay a party was gathered and they made there way to Cloakwood.

After a long distance of travel Liam finally got them to the swamp he spoke of. He told them where to go and polity asked if he could hide now. When the party agreed he squeezed his boneless body into a hallowed stump and allowed a black ooze to fight with the party. The swamp was filled with snakes of all sizes. One very large one managed to eat Lilltih before she had to be cut out and saved.

The party managed to make there way to the Blighters camp, and spied on him makeing a deal with an assassin. He payed the assassin gold to spread some poisons in the city and make it look like a plague had hit, in hopes it bring more prayer to Talona. 5,000 gold per death, and 10,000 for children he offered, while he described the death his poison would bring. The assassin agreed and took the gold, while walking away from the camp she was ambushed and killed by the party spying.

Unaware his plan had already fallen apart the Blighter turned to feeding baby snakes when the woman of the group approached and him. With a strong dislike of woman the blighter said some nasty things before being intimidate into sharing what he knows. He told them he really dident know the Cleric of Talona's identity more then them, but has a faithful of Talona did as he was told and helped gather Poisons to give and sell. He seemed proud that of his plan to poison the city unaware that it already failed. After the woman have heard enough, Selande priced him through the back and punctured his lounges. He died a slow and painful death.

The party then heeded Liams words to return home before any giant misquotes attacked them. He bid them farewell in cloackwoodbefore forcing himself into a cracked tree to rest. The rest of the party made there way to more normal resting places, expect Lambe who also found a tree to sleep in.

Corpse Wagon
A cleric of Talona started to gather men willing to help guard his wagon, he know they needed to be vile in heart to help him with his plan. A wagon was loaded with diseased corpses and headed towards the tradeway, drawn by a giant snake. His plan was to dump the bodys in waterways has he passed to spread disease for his lord. Brent Celek, Italn ydree, Sherk Rathi and one of the Blood claws answered his call. Togather they arranged a group of goblins, orcs, and bugbears in a formation to protect the wagon while the Talona cleric warded it. The formation proved effective as a scouting group of Flaming Fist where killed when they happend accross the wagon.

Meanwhile Liam the oozemaster, still watching for Talona activity came accross the plan and warned Juliandra and molly longshot. Molly moved as fast to gather a party to stop the wagon, although she might of just been interested in treasure. Robin Silver, with weasel, Jango Jadegate, and crazy Teris joined the two woman. Liam showed them the way to the road the wagon was headed, while he hid.

Before the goodly party could get to the wagon they had to fight a number of the Cleric's pets, snakes and scorpions ready to poison them. After the battle and makeing there way up the road it was not long before they clashed with the hired group of villeins. The battle was hard and the winner was not immediately clear but the goodly adventures won the day. They burned the wagon.

While the goodly side was busy burning the diseased corpses an unseen man gathred the hired group and healed them, offering them a chance to escape while thanking them for there aid. Most of the villeins made there way out of the area, however the Bloodclaw saw fit to suicidely attack the hero's again.

Liam was pleased to hear the wagon was destroyed, he thanked the group before squeezing his boneless body into a tree crack to sleep.

----Devils delight----

On the lionsway sat a broken down cart, and two men dressed in black blocking the road. They tried to extort coin out of passerbys but where quickly defeated by a group of adventurers. The party was surprised to learn that the would be bandits where Warlocks, and where suddenly attacked by other warlocks, some even summoned devils to aid them.

They tracked the warlocks back to the coast south of candlekeep, running into a number of imps and hell hounds. There they witnessed a man painting the lighthouse in blood, as part of his own, unrelated evil plan. After confronting the man he teleported away.

On the beach stood a Harvester Devil, he spoke calmly and confidently to the party. "Are you here to send me back to the hells? Or perhaps your looking for your own pacts" the devil asked. The party was ready to strike the devil but he informed them he can not truly be killed and only sent back to the hells. His words convinced the party to let him travel back to the hells on his own and with out a fight. However, the devil failed to tell the party that if they had defeated him he be banished from the prime for a set period of time.

So the harvester devil returned to the hells with a number of newly gained souls of warlocks dieing an early death, a quick return for his investment in the pact, as well as happy in the knowledge he could return to the prime at any time.

Cold Duel
Image

For the past few days and nights the hill giants south of Nashkel have been the target of adventurers seeking to test themselves. Scores of hill giants fell to there blades and magic. It was not long before the hill giants and enough and seeked help. By giveing up there honor, they spoke to giants higher on the ordning and begged for there aid. The Frost Giants answered.

The Frost giants used force to push the adventure seekers back to Nashkel. They then fortified there position with boulders and waited for any who wished combat. Nashkel was up in arms, but the giants did not move forward and only stood watch.

Soon a party brave enough to seek answers of combat came out of Nashkel to approch the giants. They saw a Large Giant with a crown on his head, Jarl of the frost giant clan that traveled south. A mystic spoke for the Jarl, telling them they would not allow the Hill Giants to be hunted anymore, enjoying the prize of there lost honor. Merek spoke for the party, telling the giants they would not harm any of the hill giants if the Frost giants went back up the mounton. The Jarl did not trust the humans to keep there word.

As each group spoke to each other they discovered they where at an impass. Neither seeking war, but not trusting each other to be the first to walk away. The Jarl decided to let a dual decided who would turn away. The fight would be one on one, each choseing a champion. The loser's group would walk away, and no one was to interfere. The giants picked a young warrior to fight for them, and Lotrik volunteered to fight for his side.

The duel started and each warrior fought well, and managed blows on each other. However Lotrik was gaining the advantage. Everything changed however, when the fire gensai Warlock, Malachai, decided to push Lotrick odds even further by casting wards on him while invisible. The Jarl and his mystics where not with out there own spells however and saw the invisible warlock cheat. The giants yelled cheater and where on the attack, however it was too late for the young giant in the duel as he lost and died.

Fierce and bloody conflict broke out as the giants raged. The party was not with out there own conflicted feelings of the cheating, Merek, Anona, and Triston avoided fighting as they felt the giants where in the right. However, even with out there full party the side of the humans fought back just as fiercely. The Frost Giant Jarl stood till the last, all his champions killed by the cheaters. He would not back down for his own honor, and even with the many against him still stood his own. The battle raged on longer then any such battle should, yet there was still no winner. The jarl yelled his complaints at the party of cheaters and warlocks.

Despite his efforts, and even Anona's healing him, the Jarl fell to the many. The party won, but as they looked around, and Contemplated what was done, it felt hollow. Triston Ebonhawk used his magic to bring the Jarl's corpse back up the mounton and to his own people while the party argued over what had happend. In the end, they all parted ways with there own feelings of morality.

----------------------
I have to say wow, i wanted to experiment and see if the party was willing to parley with giants. I never expected it to turn into such a huge moral issue that effected the thoughts of each character differently. It was frankly, beautiful. Never have i given out so many aliment change points in one event.

Lost Heart
Friendly Arms Inn was filled with the normal traffic, Juliandra and Celestia spoke to each other. A man in his late 30's with lightly colored hair approached them asking Juliandra's name. He spoke with a stutter, and seem very nervous, he Introduced himself as Tom Heart. He told Juli that he has been looking for her and asked to speak to her on a matter of grave importance.

The three of them moved inside the inn and sat by the fire has Tom told his story. In a panic he told them his "princess" has been taken, the love of his life. Switching to the beginning he told them he started out as a petty thief doing jobs for an imp in exchange for gold and food. He said the deals started out as simple delivery jobs, but slowly got worse with each job he did. Soon he was stealing from the rich, then stealing form the poor, then hurting people. He tried to back out of doing the work, but he soon meet the Imps master a Harvester Devil. The devil 'Hooked' him and would not let him out of the jobs.

Things escalated quickly for Tom when the Devils took his love, and tortured her in front of him. They told him to kill a Bard name Juli if he wanted his love back. Marcy Heart was under constent torture, and the devils promised to make the pain stop if she made a pact with them, Tom was under a strict deadline.

Sitting at the fire with Juli he begged for her help, he dident want to hurt her but was desperate to save his love. He mentioned Juli's past dealing with this Harvester Devil in the Sammson Hart case, Celestia snapped at tom for even suggesting Juli work with a devil. Juli recalling the event snapped back at Celestia, angry Celestia decided to walk away and find help on her own. Feeling for the man Juli also went to gather help.

Celestia found the elf known as Knives and asked for her aid, while Juli found a number of adventurists. The last known location of Marcy Heart was in Ulcaster's ruins, Juli asked tom to stay behind while the rest of the party made there way to the ruins. Ulcaster's was surrounded by the usual Wyverns, but there had been some activity comeing in and out of the ruins, the party decided to enter.

Inside the ruins there was a dark atmosphere and the party was quickly attacked by undead wizards, the slain invaders of the ruins. Spiders and oozes seemed to have made a home in this ruin as well. The party worked there way forward till finally making there way to a room with blue runes on the floor. In the middle was a dead woman.

The party approached with caution, knives could see this woman had been heavily tortured before dieing, and was rotting. Sayiel could tell the woman had been dead for at least a month. Celestia noticed a large book in the corner in the room and went to investigate. She noticed that it was once a teaching tool for the school, but now there was infernal written on top of old words. She understood it was a command word to release an already cast spell, one to summon a lackey to that room. Sayiel fearing the worst tried to stop Celestia and even burning the book before she could take any more action, but Celestia managed to speak the command and an imp was moved into the room.

The Imp looked around a bit surprised, but understood what room this was. He freely gave information almost mocking the party. The imp told the group that this was an old base of the Harvester Devil that had been abandoned some time ago. He laughed at the notion that Tom Heart sent them "Tom failed at his mission almost a month ago" he said, "Marcy gave her soul to us to make the pain stop, we stopped the torture but we never did agree to heal her" he laughed.

Tom failed to save his love almost a month ago, and his mind no longer could take it. He tired selling his soul to the Harvester Devil for his love back, but the Devil cruelty took the soul and only returned her corpse to him telling him "you never agreed on what state i return her in." Tom's warped mind made him leave his loves corpse in the ruins and try to relive the past and save her again by seeking out Juli. With the truth understood the party sent the imp back to the hells.

While trying to decided what to do next, it was then that Tom was seen in the door way, apparently following the party into the ruins. Without looking anyone in the eye he walked up to Marcy's rotting corpse and hugged her, tears in his eyes "I saved you my love, we can be together now" he ignored everyone in the room "Am so glad your alright my princess." He continued to hug and speak to the corpse. Knives could not bare to see any more, she walked behind the man knife in hands and put the poor man out of his misery. The man slumped to the ground, still holding his love in embrace. The party tried to take comfort in the fact the two would be together, but it was dashed by the understanding the two only had the hells ahead of them.

Rival Devil
Image

A Horned Devil had made himself known as a Rival to the Harvester Devil. His children have been following and attacking anyone of Interest to the Harvester devil. He even went as far as sending Hell hounds to attack the Friendly Arms Inn. The Flameing Fist killed the hounds but not with out casulity to the adventures in the area.

A warlock follower of the Harvester Devil told a group where to find this Horned Devil, and his name Tho'Daah-Nugh. He had taken over a cave on the trade-way between Triel and Soubar. Sayiel, Elvofiwien, Ina Greyhost, Justan Daley, and the paladin Arkaine Halforkan decided to travel north. Meanwhile, Triston Ebonhawk hearing of the troubles in the area on his own teleported to the area to scout around. He saw Tho'Daah-Nugh, and many of his children all over the area.

The group made there way to the area and started to combat the many fiends and half fiends, the combat was tough but was when they saw the giant Horned Devil they know they had just started. Arkaine took the front, but even his large body could not stand the Devils blows with out healing. Triston Ebonhawk also joined the battle, and togather the party took down the large devil.

While the party celebrated the defeat of the fiend, the warlock they met earlier made an appearance giving the party an applaud, and thanking them for helping the Harvester Devil once again. He then told them they had one more task, and it was to send his soul to the hells as well. The warlock lunched at the party but was quickly defeated.

The party now faced there greatest challenge yet, a 40ft hole, miscalculated to be 20 ft. The devils coming in and out of it had wings....they did not. There was a great smell of death. Ina Greyhost quickly used her talents to climb down with out so much a word to anyone, running ahead. Justan Daley tried to climb down as well, and failed falling to his death. Elvo had better luck and manged to climb down to follow Ina. Sayial tried to climb down and fell to her death.

Ina was ahead of the party and came to a room with diabolic writing, in the middle sat a number of Tho'daah's slaves, behind them was the Harvester Devil. The two spoke, and when Elvo caught up, the harvester suggested they take there talk elsewhere, he killed the slaves and teleported with Ina to his current lair.

Much of what they talked about is only between the two of them, but Ina left with the Harvesters name, his master, a vial of his blood and a boon. The Harvester is Urah, and his master is Lord of the Second: Dispater, The Iron Duke. What Ina does with her gifts and knowledge is up to her.

-Devils in Triel-
Rumors reached the south that an imp was sighted in Triel, judgeing from the recent Devils seen on the trade way just north of Triel this was a cause for concern. Orin Ironfell and Dolinar Balderden where already in the area hoping to speak to someone in Triel about trading grain for Kraak Helzak. The elf know as knives and Aiden headed north on there own, already being involved with some of the Harvester's Devils attacks. A Cleric of waukeen, a mage Nemna Aldgeb and pel also joined them in the north.

Image

In Triel they started to ask around the community, and found the people to be rather sheltered. There is no inn in Triel, or shops to buy things. They also heard of Elvar the Grainmaster, who is extreamly eccentric but his people generally seem to love him. Learning Elvar likes to speak to new clerics and has a habit of changing faiths almost every tenday. They used there own Cleric in the party as a in, to speak to Elvar. The grainmaster proved to be very much the man described in the rumors, a brilliant man but cursed with the anxiety of his people going hungry and finding the right god. A priest of Lathander looked relieved to see another cleric arrive and was quick to flee when he saw his chance. Elvar grilled the cleric on her faith of waukeen, but did not wish to trade his grain to the dwarves despite his heavy supply. There where hints however he might be persuaded if the dwarves would trade salt and other preservatives to Triel.

In the middle of all the talk about gods and grain they manged to get to the imp rumor. Elvar shared that he was just about to hire some guard to check on a house he suspects might have something to do with it. The group offered there services and checked on the house themselves. It was not hard to find the stone building in all the wooden ones, and made there way inside the unlocked building. Inside they met an elf who blamed all adventures as people who walk into houses uninvited while stealing there spare change. However the party noticed signs of a recent struggle, a knife on the floor, blood. They confronted the elf who revealed himself to be a warlock.

The Warlock was quickly killed and the party went about searching the house. Inside they found many powerful traps, that Half-fiend and hell hounds used to there advantage in fighting them. In the celler they found a strange altar devoted to devils. There foes used the dead end of the celler to there advantage and tried to corner the party but failed. The party slowly cleared out room, to blood soaked room till they made there way to the attic.

In the attic they found a Erinyes, traped in a containment spell. She told the party her name was Alile, a scout for the recently defeated Tho'Daah-Nugh that the harvester devil had captured. She reviled to the party that the house was of a cultist, and was recently being abandoned as the Harvester Devils base. The Erinyes offred the party a deal, if she was let free, she help them defeat the harvester devil. The party argued over the matter, but it was evently countered offered that she leave the area after she was done and not harm innocents no more. Knives and Alile signed on the deal, and Boo was given a the Erinyes sword (Not aware it was unenchanted)

Alile was free and reveled important details to the party about the Harvester devil. He is weak, and does not fight himself. He moves from base to base, not staying in one spot long. He likes to use Adventures to inadvertently help him. His name is Urah and his master is Lord of the Second: Dispater. Finally she told them, if she truly wanted to beat him, they have to learn to get ahead of him, and not be reactive to him, otherwise they will always end up his unwitting pawns. Alile then flow out the window, fulfilling her end of the pact. The party then left, telling Elvar what happened. Elvar later had the house torn down.

A Message
There had already been an attack on the trade way today, as a wagon stooped in front of the inn, running over one. Half fiends rushed out of the back of the wagon and attacked, picking targets at random. The fist and some extra aid managed to stop them. Later Knives and Aiden where talking with a few others by a stump when an assassin attempted to take there life and it soon became clear an Imp was following them.

It was when she was traveling to Candlekeep to seek aid, that the group was ambushed and Knives was taken away. She awoke in an unknown area, it was filled with an aura of evil. Corpses lied on tables, and cry's for help could be heard in the distance. In front of her was the devil Urah, he was in mostly human form except for a devils tail and an aura of fire on him. A burning Halberd in his hands. He slammed the weapon down into the corpse next to her "You where not supposed to learn my name" He spoke in a dark tone to her. "I find you interesting, make a pact with me and join me" His tone dark and demanding. Knives resisted, but was clearly frightened. "I have a message i want you to give" He pulled his Halbred out of the corpse, and swings it down into her shoulder. The metal of the blade was cold as it sliced into her, but the fire around it burned, Knives screamed. "Tell them to fear me, tell them to join me, or i will rip there souls apart." The elf then blacked out.

Cutting the Branches AKA Goodbye Tucker
Tucker is a warlock, he is not a good person. He was nicknamed the Ghost Warlock for his hiding abilities and talents with illusion. He made his pact with Urah when he was twelve years old, his inablity to help his sick mother made him feel weak and he wanted power. Years later he would later kill his mother, as he now corrupted mind felt she was holding him back. He is now an old man, he has now realized he is dying. He has decided to devote himself to pissing off the devil that would soon own his soul.

Tucker had followed the adventures around candlekeep for some time now. Deciding the ones that Urah had found so interesting be the best chance to send the devil back to the hells. However he was well aware that there was little chance they trust him. In the end he decided to just come out and talk to them, he explained the best way to stop Urah was to cut at the branches of the Cult of Dispater till the devil showed himself. He showed them where a cult hideing in Beregost was hidden. Nemna, Lillith, Jennalia, Celduil, Vino and Julindra decided to vist the home, while Knives stayed in candlekeep still recovering from her last attack.

The manor held a number of warlocks, devils and cultists. Traps where everywhere, and the party had to be careful. Meanwhile Tucker told them he stay at the entrance, but secretly followed them to see what they do. There was much evil to fight but the party made there way to what seemed like the bosses room. They defeated the warlock and searched his desk, finding a map to Fort Gray, a fort that was thought to be destroyed after Sammson Hart took it over and was defeated. While trying to exit the house they had to fight a Horned Devil of some power. They defeated the devil but could hear a number of reinforcements coming up the steps so they teleported out.

Cutting the Branches AKA Goodbye Tucker Part 2
A day passed and a group was ready to search Fort Gray. A scouting party went on ahead to see what they could find. Meanwhile Tucker sat at the fire in the farmlands next to Baldur's Gate. He know he dident have much time left and wanted to enjoy some peace. A number of people joined him at the fire, including Knives, Aiden, and Juliandra. Tucker was growing weaker and he could feel it, and as he grow weaker the corruption on his soul grow stronger. He was well aware he was likely to do something soon that he have no control over. He asked for forgiveness of such a future action. "If i do things, if i do things that hurt anyone, please forgive me." It was not long before such a moment came, as he could no longer stand the annoying rantings of the people around him he pulled out his dagger and attacked in rage. Tucker was killed there at the fire, by the people he decided to open up to in the end.

Scouts returned from Fort Gray, the village was still and empty. It seemed fake, and lifeless. There was an emptiness in the air that felt unnatural and wrong. The party took there time and made a plan of attack. The planing and travel took hours but they made there way to Fort Gray. This time it was Knives, Jennalia, Aust, Aiden, Alsarias, Celestia and Celduil that composed the party, with Juliandra staying behind.

Fort Gray was just as the scouts described, empty, still, unatural. There where no signs of the village being burned to the ground like it should of been. There was no signs of life as well, no birds or insects. In the middle of the road stood a familiar figure. The spirit form of Tucker stood before them. His soul no longer his to control, a toy for the devils. His punishment had only just started, he would feel more pain before he even touched the fires of the hells. He tipped his hat and smiled to the party as always and explained this to him. He told them he was to die by there hands, but was allowed to give a warning. The Pit Fiend that once burned Fort Gray to nothing was ahead. This devil was no weakling and they have a real battle on there hands. Tucker was then forced to attack, the party defeated him with some regret.

They made there way up to the fort, it was guarded by few cultists and they made there way inside. It was the moment of truth and they could feel the evil of the Devil ahead. They prepared, readied there wards and arrows. Celesita was the first to move towards the devil, the party was not even fully prepared, but the elf was ready for combat. The party fought hard and pushed with all there power, but where not ready for the devils might as slowly he defeated them. Celduil was the last standing when the devil turned his back to the elf and moved away.

Celduil quickly took a hold of the chance and started to heal his group. Then Urah was seen, he walked up to knives and bent down to her. He combed her hair, and kissed her cheek. He told the regrouping party "Do Better!" before walking away and vanishing. The party healed there wounds and where ready for combat this time. They attacked the powerful pit Fiend once more, this time overpowering him and sending him back to the hells.

Urah watched the peopled he found so interesting defeat a powerful ally, and take an important stronghold to him. He was unsure if he was angry or excited over this fact, however he was done playing. The area burst into flames, and the dead started to rise, the lost villagers of Fort Gray. The party had to flee as the village turned back to the ash and bone it was supposed to be. Urah left one final message "We will finish this soon." As the party traveled away from the fort they saw one last image of Tucker's spirit waving goodbye to them, likely his last freedom before an eternity in the hells.

Fun fact, i named Fort Gray after Jean Gray of the x-man. A character most associate with fire, and coming back from the dead. I originally planed to bring Sammson Hart back here, but i figured the current party would associate with Tucker better.
