"It was a late night, and a party just finished killing the creature known as Choas. The party's Druid used a Dragon shape to battle the undead that was at least once a woman. The floors cracked and the building whined under her weight. Before doing any more damage that may collapse the building on themselves they rushed to the first floor. Where they met a number of undead simply unknown to that Particular haunted house.

A Banshee, along with zombies of slain commoners attacked them. The undead where slain quickly and the group left the house as fast as they could. The doors locked themselves behind them.

The forest was a movement of trees...no Treants as they moved towards the party. The party was ready for them, expect many fell and died before ever reaching there blades...only to get back up again. The Undead Treant grow and fell in number before there was calm again. The party stood, wondering what had happened when they where approached by a little, ugly fey.

The Quickling as there called, offered to show them the place of the undeaths origin. For a small fee of course. Of course the party was untrusting of this little ugly fey, but the Druid felt it was there duty to find out what happened. So they took a trip deep into the woods, where there was little a path to follow, less then an animal trail. Once the fey found the place he was looking for, he laughed at the party. "Welcome to the Haunted Woods" he said. Then he took off, laughing again "I never agreed to show you the way back"

The forest was filled with trapped spirits...undead unable to escape as they fell steadily into evil mindless creatures.
Ghosts of so many who got lost in the woods.
Drowned undead, crying for air that will never fill there now dead lounges.
A dead paladin, who could not stop fighting...and another that died all too close to his goal.
A Ranger still looking for his long dead animal companion, and his brothers who could not find him.
A Nightwalker, drunk on the power of the place.
The party made there way past them all. To find one more...this one was different. An elf, a ghost of an elven male...filled with power. His mind was shattered, at moments he notice the party was there, and at others he forgot about them. He gave bits and pieces of his sad story. He told of traveling with his family, of a son lost in the woods and the vampires that killed them all in front of him. This elf was a sorcerer and the power in his blood boiled even after death. He even spoke of being shown how to control other spirits. He suddenly turned on the party and forced them into a hard battle. After the long battle, the party ended the poor ghost and the air itself felt calmer, less evil.

After wondering the woods, lost, the party saw another quickling run by them before witnessing lighting strike the ground by them, then again in the same spot. The party walked over to the spot only for a powerful mage, no necromancer to teleport behind them and cast a disjunction. He laughed "Made you look" mocking them. This mocking man, was the true cause of the evil in the woods. "Do...you...know...how...long it took to find a soul like the one you just destoryed?" he asked "He was wonderful, his family was torn apart in front of him, the vampires made him watch!" Laughing, mocking the spirts pain. "The Little quickingling do a good job of leading people out here, of course they dont come cheap" Smiling, laughing and mocking the group "I guess am just going to have to some fun with you and see what i can make" The battle was hard won for the group, as members where near death a kind voice whispered in there ears and gave them strength. The Necromancer fell, mocking them till the very end. As he died, his spells started to expire.
The ghost of an elven child was let free of a soul trap spell. He spoke to the party, and thanked them. He told his story...of following a Will-o-wisp into the woods where the vampires made there home. He told them of his home...a Firewine bridge, but the party simply did not know the place. The ghost told them he was granted an abilty to take them out of the woods to his home. They where all teleported to Gullykin, overlooking the cliffs.
The Child cried...he asked the party "Why...why dident you tell me, how could you not know" The River had dried up long ago in a spell battle that destroyed Firewine Bridge, his kin where long gone. The child had been dead for a long time. "I hate you" he said "I hate you i hate you i hate" as he transformed into something ugly and twisted casting powerful magic of death before being consumed himself. The party was near speechless, there plight was over, but that child will never move on to Arvandor.
