My wired modem died two nights ago. :?

ISP service tech coming this afternoon to repair it.

At least I caught up on some DVR watching during the downtime. :)

To everyone, thanks for the support and kind words :!:

@Enaylius:

No, the wife didn't put her foot down, lol. Truth be told, I had ceased being productive in my real life. I was spending all of my time, writing up stories, organizing player events, attempting to co-ordinate with multiple DMs (which were all amazing in their level of support btw) and probably the most draining, attempting to coordinate intra-guild player side events.

I spent more time preparing and organizing on the server with half that time constantly trying to put out fires, that the fires in my real life were beginning to grow while I was not preparing for them. That's when you know it's time to take a step back and get some perspective. I begin my first course moving for my second degree today and within the past three weeks I have been more productive than I had in my last three months prior.

It was time for me and it feels good :)

@Atlas:

Yes, you are definitely one of the players I had meant when I said, "Those who don't know it". For all those who have seen my Elf's and his Half-Orc's interactions IG, they in no way parallel the immense respect I have for Atlas as a player.

I think that is one of the primary issues that players have on this server at the moment, their inability to separate IC to OOC interpersonal relations. Atlas is perhaps one of the most dedicated IC players on the server. Sometimes his morality bleeds through to the forums but regardless, I will take that a million times over someone who tries to fit his character into any given situation, guild and event possible.

To everyone else,

You have a wonderful place here and should fight to support each other, because in the end, all you really have is each other ;)

p.s.
to Gareut, in my nostalgia, I was watching this video the other day and when it got to the part about Don Juan, it made me think of you...........
:lol: :P :D :lol: :P :D Just kidding, I miss you too *smooches* :P :) :lol: :P :) :lol:

I sincerely wish you all the best with whatever you do in RL, Mav. In 11 years that I have played NWN online, you are one of the best, if not the best guild leader and player I have had pleasure of playing with. EDE will not be the same without you, but neither will the BGTSCC community. Here's hoping you will have some time here and then to visit.

I feel fed up. So, I will be gone for a week or so.

I just have too much on my plate to deal walking christmas trees and people who must include themselves to every single thing.

Hey BG,
I'll be making a brief return again to see what the server is like now, if anyone knows any of my characters from before: Jynx, Istar, Zaq etc... be sure to say hi.
