Re: SQL error
This issue resides on the web server, the problem appears global.
1. Table corruption, needs the the repair syntax fired on the table having the issue (possibly phpbb_privmsgs).
2. Disk is nearing being out of available space and cannot expand the defined file

Re: SQL error
It seems like a physical disk issue. They've run out of space (which happens more often than I'd like) and our usual fix seems to be pruning the forums.
I tried deleting a few obsolete threads but it didn't really resolve anything for us. I -could- try pruning the 55-pages of Auction House.... I know a lot of people source those old threads for pricing and item stats though.
And it's just a temporary measure that might not even fix it for us. The partition in question might be PM-specific rather than generalized forum stuff.

Re: SQL error
Whatever it is also blocks the FTP site, hence the AutoDownLoader problems. No PM folder either.
The forums themselves are dropping in/out for me.
I vote for deleting some older forum content. I know design-side we have dozens of tabs of ancient threads that could probably be deleted. Even if it does not help, we can at least clean house.

We can safely purge Community and General discussions, b/c topics there tend to lose relevance very quickly.

Cropped out 52 pages of Auction House stuff...
Hopefully we'll keep forums up for a while now. I'll do more pruning later.

Re: SQL error
I am a little curious: would culling excessive and old pms help with forum server capacity?

Re: SQL error
Probably wouldn't hurt.
I believe the Inbox counts as a Folder and should eventually fill up. I'm not sure what the capacity is though.

I understand Ivan to mean "delete old posts," not "totally purge those forums."Ivan38Rus wrote:We can safely purge Community and General discussions, b/c topics there tend to lose relevance very quickly.
