Ameris is seen climbing up a ladder and clambering on the temple roof with what appears to be a bag formed from leaves, a pot, and a brush. He is, apparently, trying to seal leaky roof tiles with clay.

Trying. But roofing is clearly not his forte - after realising the health and safety risks of the operation, he goes off to hire someone qualified.

A unfamiliar face makes an appearance at the Temple within Baldur's Gate. The man stays for a short period, having an enjoyable conversation with a Brother of the Broken God and a Knight of Lady Firehair. He leaves a donation for the War Effort fund with the Brother before leaving.

The Temple of Ilmater has been abuzz with activity in the last few days as Ameris organises the Ilmatari contribution to the wartime healing efforts. Significant sums are spent from the contributions made recently by charitable donors.

On the 21st of Nightal a rather sombre scene approaches the Temple of Ilmater just after dusk under the cold, starry sky of midwinter. Priestess Neela would march, lantern in hand, in front of a large floating disc which is draped with a beautifully embroidered, blue and white cloth with Mystra's holy symbol sewn on the top of it, prominently facing upwards at the starry winter's sky. The sides of the cloth draped down over the edge of the disk, covering what was clearly a person's body resting atop the floating transporter. The body of Priestess Aeili would then be delivered to the care of the Temple of Ilmater's mortuary until final preparations could be made for her, resurrection or funeral, to be handled by the much smaller Temple of Mystra.

Having returned from the healing camps being set up to arrange the delivery of more supplies, a tired looking Ameris expresses first surprise, then a deep sadness when he learns of whom is under the shroud. He would ask what happened, but not press for details.

He insists on being the one to tend to the body and preserve it within the Ilmatari mortuary. He would treat it with reverential respect and it would be clear the man is holding back grief.

Once the matter was tended to, a quiet prayer would be said over the body.

After this the man would step into the private areas of the temple.

The Sunite known as Erza donated the required diamonds for the resurrection ritual although she left it up to the temple to perform, Despite having the ability to perform the ritual its self. The reason why is unknown however the Sunite appeared to have a clear lack of effort applied to her appearance, Maybe to grief stricken.

When hearing the sad news, Telia went down to the mortuary to spend some time alone with Aeili's body. She would have been kneeling over Aeili, clasping the silver star of Mystra which hangs around her own neck.

If any words were said, they were only meant for the dead and the Lady of Magic herself, Mystra.

She would have come back, showing signs of having wept but somehow carrying herself in a more or less composed manner.

A young woman wearing hooded silver-gray robes paid a visit to the Temple of Imater.

She spoke with Sister Adolina for a few moments and then took a seat at the table with a bowl of soup and bread, quietly eating her meal.

Later, the young woman was escorted by Ameris to the temple's mortuary and to the earthly remains of priestess Aeili where she sat in silence for several hours.

When the moon began to rise, from beneath the temple drifted a haunting wordless song.

Ameris returns from a session of donation collecting with news that Nerys Greyfox will be staying in the temple during her visit to the city. He speaks of how Nerys has come to find out the cause of the undead wandering the wilderness.

He then heads off to the mortuary, and undertakes his evening prayers in vigil over the fallen priestess of Mystra, his voice a quiet whisper.

Hoiha Dacino would arrive, wearing her almost trademark tricone and cape with the dragon, but also wearing some rather clothes that barely fit her, as if designed instead for a woman nearly a head if not two taller. None the less, she walks swiftly and leaves a note for Ameris, remarking that it is an urgent one as she's got a crewmember who is sick.

The Temple of Mystra informs the Temple of Ilmater that the ritual to resurrect the fallen priestess Aeili will take place at dusk on the 1st of Hammer in the Year of the Dragon, 1352 DR.

Herran, upon hearing of Aeilis plight would go to the Ilmatari temple and request to visit the body of the fallen priestess. If granted, he would kneel beside her body and taking her hand, sing a soul touched melody.

to return to us for as you know, we all still have such need
you aided me through dire times when I lost my sanity
tis time for me to pay my debt, so I'm here on bended knee

To the loving goddesses I wish to offer prayer

The song not being premeditated, but merely inspired by his nearness to her preserved body, he bows his head while bringing her hand to his lips for a gentle kiss. Goddesses forgive me for my words ... but I know you know my heart ... and know what I so awkwardly attempt to sing ... He goes silent and remains for a very long time, now completely quiet, head bowed, lips pressed to her hand ...

The temple is abuzz with the purchase and movement of healing supplies locally in the city, Ameris arranging their distribution to the healing and hospital camps treating the wounded from the recent battle in the Trollclaws, both those run by the Ilmatari and other organisations. The Ilmatari donation drive remains in effect, although two-hundred and fifty thousand has already been spent on blankets, medical kits, potions, stretchers, splints and the like.

Its said that an order for yet more supplies from overseas is being undertaken, the temple having collected a substantial sum to fund such efforts.

As part of a nightly ritual while he is in the city, however, Ameris says his evening prayers by the Mystran priestess whose body currently resides in the mortuary.

Lady Lea and Lady Nina of the Order of the Silver Rose arrive with a mobile triage unit in Baldur's Gate. Ameris assists them in travelling to the healing camps and setting up in the way most useful to the ongoing medical efforts.

A leather-clad, tussled-sandy-blonde haired woman is seen around the temple in the evenings. She offers motherly assistance to any infants at the temple while she is there. If anyone asks why she it there, she'll say she is an Emissary from Secomber sent to learn more about the dishonored undead threatening this walled village.
