Can't update...

Unread post by Tenebrosity »

Hello,

I'm having an issue with the recent update. For some reason, it keep freezing at the very end of the download, telling me something about FTP not responding. I'm on my 5th attempt now. Maybe someone can upload the hak for me, if that can work this way?

Thank you.

Same thing happened to me but I didn't get an error. My whole client crashed with 1.41 mb left to download after remaining frozen at that point for a while.

Fortunately, when I reconnected it successfully downloaded the remaining 1.41mb and now I can play. :?

Yeah, it's approximatively 1.4 mb that is missing for me aswell. It just freeze but doesn't crash, but each time I reconnect, it start over to do the same thing. :(

What's the last HAK file you need to download? If you can isolate it for me perhaps I can shove it in my dropbox for you to DL.

The big file/hak change is bg_head_hair2.hak (or maybe *hair_head*? - you get the idea).

It is big, so heavy FTP-site ADLs by others may cause your connection to stall/time-out.

Look in your MyDocuments/NeverwinterNights2/Hak folder. Sort by date. If you see an *.lzma file at the top of the list, delete it. Try logging in again.
