If there is a source that indicates they don't like it, then by all means, keep it restricted. But I've not seen such a mention in any RW source I've read, which is a lot.

If the Thayan bits are not inspired by any actual lore, then those should be removed from it, IMO.
There's a lot of stuff done wrong with that prc, honestly. Like the instant evil shift, turning Bloodseeking Spell into a second source of increased CL instead of just an extra 1d6 damage like in pnp, and having half of its feat tax removed (it's supposed to require Great Fortitude too, not just Toughness).
