Lunulata hails from an isolated area of the eastern high forest near the Delimbiyr River. Her home is more tribal in many ways due to isolation from the civilized areas. The community is home to more than 400 but fewer than 800 individuals. The community has existed since the fall of the crown wars 10,000 years ago. While elvish is spoken, it is a different dialect. Many words spoken as common elvish have been replaced, compressed, changed, or lost in Lunulata's native elvish.

While isolated from the civilized land they are not completely isolated from all communities. The elves of this tribe are in an ebb and flow war state with the 1000 Fists Orc Tribe. The duration of the orc war has created a hatred between the two races. Through this hatred comes brutality. Through this brutality comes more hatred. This cycle has continued for many thousand years. Developing a hatred that burns inside of them to unimaginable levels to outsiders.

While the orc wars dominate the lives of the tribe, battles with the Rotfang Gnoll Pack litter the history. The strength and numbers of the Rotfang pack grow to large numbers. But the anxious birth-righted leader of the Rotfang quells his own masses before they become a serious threat with premature foray.

The only other association with the outside comes by means of trade. The Stonehelm Clan of Bolfost-Tor in Greypeak Mountains trade iron and copper. This is a recent development to the tribe and relation development is minimal. But this recent influx of ore has strengthened the tribe's military 10 fold. The trade has also helped the struggling dwarf clan gain some stability in a difficult area.

Besides the orcs, gnolls, dwraves and sylvan creatures; the other races are stories told in history or lesson. A human is regarded similar to orc. And the other elf races as untrustworthy and deceitful. Dwarves are taught to be loyal albeit stubborn and wasteful. Halflings are not spoken of often. Gnomes would be dwarves.

Lunulata's Tribe is ruled by 12 druid mothers. The first daughter of an active mother is trained to replace her mother in the council. Lunulata's twin sister, Apidae is this dynast. Before someone can take their role as a member of the council. The druid to be must take a 100 year journey to gain the knowledge and wisdom needed to become a great leader. This journey is not taken alone. The druid's journey is accompanied by a most trusted and loyal warrior. This warrior must serve and protect the druid, and the task is regarded as one of the highest duties for anyone. Apidae's warden for this is her own twin sister Lunulata. The two were sent west to live out their quest in the troubled sword coast.

Soon after their arrival to Balder's Gate, Lunulata woke up one morning with nothing but a note written by her sister. The note reads, "Dearest sister. You are the most loyal, dutiful and dedicated warrior I have ever known. But this is why I must leave you. Your strength will shield me from the experiences I need to find. I need to know danger and how to face it. I know that you could find me. You can find anyone. You must trust my wisdom and not seek me out. Let yourself gain this same knowledge that I seek. Do not just do this for me. Do this for our home."

Lunulata, a woman trained to protect, is a child in a foreign land. Left to learn how to protect herself in this dangerous place.

Apidae was raised with all the privilege that comes with her destiny as the first daughter to a council mother. Her days were spent in lesson and study. The few times she could spend in play with her twin sister, Lunulata, were the happiest times for her. As time passed and the two girls started to become women. Apidae could see that while Lunulata was becoming a strong warrior and fine archer, Apidae was struggling to comprehend the simplest skills. Hide and seek was no longer a challenge for her sister. She was happy for her sister. Lunulata was the strongest of the two. But she has to trust the teachings of the council and their wisdom. They will teach her the strength she needs.

The day of their 100 cycle was a great celebration. This was the day she learned of her quest. The day was made even more great upon learning that her twin sister was to be her warden. They were to head to a place known as the Sword Coast. Her lessons told of humans, dwarves and elves living together in great cities. The people worship strange gods and goddesses. They build monuments of stone and earth to the deities. As they prepared for their journey excitement was high for both of them.

Leaving home was a sad day. They will not see it again for another 100 cycles. Apidae knew that the next time she looks upon her home trees again they will both be so much better for what awaits. The journey to the Sword Coast city named Balder's Gate was long. But Lunulata's skill at tracking and hunting made the trek much easier than if Apidae was alone. She was so proud of all that Lunulata had learned. Watching her perform was spender. Upon reaching the city's gates they quickly learned the value of coin and the need to relearn the common language that had been inadequately taught in their lessons. Apidae and Lunulata went out and spoke with citizens. Discovered ways to make the coins that provide housing and supplies. But as days went on Lunulata went out more and more without Apidae. Lunulata would tell her that it is much safer to stay while she went out on the hunts. While Lunulata was away on a hunt, Apidae went out to speak with travelers. She met a group of adventurers. After speaking with them a few times, Apidae knew what she must do. She must leave her sister and be like the adventurers. She must grow to fulfill her duty. And although she cares for her sister, she must travel out of Lunulata's protection. That night as Lunulata slept. Apidae packed up her belongings, left a note to her sister and began her life as an adventurer. Whatever that means she doesn't know but is going to find out.
