Damage?!? I'm too busy running about at TOP SPEED to be concerned with damage!!

But, the build can muster 23 avg. per hit + 10 EW at level 30 out of stealth. Considering BAB 23 and Gr. Flurry, I'd say about 79 per round unless SA immune.

It's a build that is much more a speedy spy than a tank or damage maker.

Hard to get that with this.

For the OP, though: If you don't need stealth, the by far most mobile build is an orc cleric4/monk16/sacred fist10 with travel domain (I think it was travel - whichever gives that 10% movement speed) and the dash feat somewhere. This will be moving so fast that other characters with haste can't keep up with it.
What, no bodyguard 3 in there for another big speed boost? :P

I think it doesn't stack with the travel domain thing. Or something. We went over all of these things for like two hours on the IRC about a year and a half ago or so, trying to come up with the speediest build. :P

Deathgrowl already mentioned the Sacred Fist class. This is a variation that gives it allround combat viability (30 CL etc.) on top of high speed. It's a Grey Orc - which gets you another 10% speed from Long Gait.

Give it some Dash boots and a Barbarian Fast Movement item if there is one (I vaguely remember a Warmace with that feat which you could hold while travelling) and you'll have:

Monk Speed 4 +10% Long Gait +5% Dash +10% Fast Movement +10% Woodland Stride +50% Battletide

So many replies. I will look into your suggestions on the test server. Thanks! :D

If you want something ridiculous, try grey orc warlock 8 cleric 3 (with plant domain for extra speed) Monk 9 SF 10. Warlock will give you an infinite source of haste and invisibility that will stack with much of the speed boosts.

*edit 2*

If you go with a full caster build like Rudolph suggested, I would go with the trickery domain for invisibility. Darkness also offers the same thing, but it conflicts more with other divine spell slots you will need.

There is another alternative if you go the spirit shaman route. The long strider spell will be an early more consistent boost to speed than the cleric version (needing battle tide) with extra spots to spare with extended spells. Then storm avatar will be available to use for a speed boost too. Storm avatar will not stack with long strider though. The main drawback here is no invisibility.

For a new player i would suggest a build that is tougher than any kind of ranger/HIPSter.
You can instead go for divine caster like cleric or favored soul. Druid is also very powerfull. All these classess will get you to the epic areas and thru them easy. Also they will have alot of carry weight so you can collect all the gear you find without worrying too much of being encumbered. Or you can go with a dwarf that becomes a dwarven defender. There is karond's build somewhere here which is really really powerfull. Or go for a brutish barbarian orc and join the orc kin. Barbarians are getting a bit of love lately and there is more to come so they are a viable class. Tho you need some gear for them ... All of the rest that i spoke about, you won't have to worry too much about gear for them.

Bard 16, arcane archer 5, elemental archer5, fighter 4 ticks most the boxes of a strong archer build.

This packs quite a punch with arrows whilst maintaining a good duration on expeditious retreat, haste (which is 40rounds extended) & has level 6 bard spells which includes greater heroism etc.

It has excellent buffs buffs - mirror image, displacement, sup resistance, energy immunity but is susceptible to high level dispels.

I find this a better choice to maxing out the arcane archer as I prefer the extra spells but if you want an extra +2 hit/dmg you can dip more bard levels in lieu for more AA
