Okay. So now that we know what the spell is doing, can we get a confirmation that it should or should not ALSO apply to Creatures? Cheers.

I would guess, it works on creatures who wear armor.

Yeah that's it, so not on elementals, I can't see an armor on that blob of water :P

Very good. Clears it up re: Vestment.

I'd suggest removing "Creature" from that Description, then.

Else I'll start RPing I've sewn a little vest for my Celestial Lion, and thus, will be back with this topic on the Suggestion thread!

Question : when a bigby spell follows you in the fugue, if you manage to talk to Myrkul and respawn, does the spell still damage you ?

Hello,
I'd like to bump this and ask if anyone on Staff is considering making these changes. Cheers.
Steve wrote:Some questions and suggestions for Summoning Spells (since I'm all over the Thaum PrC atm  ):

1. Thaumaturge cannot have 1 summons and 1 planar cohort at the same time. When first introduced, Thaumaturgist COULD HAVE both of these, at the same time. This was exactly what this PrC was about, imho.

2. Celestial Creature summons: some are so teeny tiny!!! lol. It's like have Hobbes and/or Bambi as your celestial guide!! How difficult would it be to increase the physical size of these celestial creatures?

Lion:

Bambi...I mean stag:

3. Whirlpool Spell: the knockdown effect from the spell effects the caster!! Also, during the initial phase of the spell, when the knockdown is active in an area, the elementals summoned attacked my celestial stag!! That wasn't cool...or probably correct.

Also, notice that MY CELESTIAL STAG STAYED SUMMONED WHILE THE 3 ELEMENTALS FROM WHIRLPOOL SPELL WERE SUMMONED!!! This is great! Can we now have it for all summons?!?

Cheers. And thank you.

Hello Steve, I'm on this. 1 is done, 3 sounds like a side effect you'll have to deal with 8-)

But for 2 I need a bit of help, which summons need a size increase ? I know the Lion and the Stag do, what about the rest ?

I know this is sacrilege, but how about smaller elder earth elementals while we're at it? :P

Also, the weasel is teeeeny tiny, but then... It's a weasel.

Combat Vigor duration is one round to short.
I have combat focus, vigor and strike,it should last 12 rounds, but the regeneration effect only lasts 11 rounds.
I would guess the shortness applies to focus and strike also, but that's difficult to verify for me.

For the earth elemental I'm not sure everyone would be happy with such a change so I'll stay away from that :P

But otherwise screenshots of tiny creatures, weasels included, are welcomed to give me an idea of the increase needed (or even better just give me a number).

Very cool. Thanks Val. Fixing the Allie/Cohort issue will make so many Players happy.

RE: the "dominated" summons attacking Cohorts and Allies...i guess that is going to require some creative RP (though since the "dominated" show up as Party members, I'm still wondering why they see a Cohort as hostile).

I misunderstood you a bit then, thought they were hostile only during the knockdown effect. I don't know why though, is that true with every summon ? Or if you cast airball first then a summon ?
