A poster was hung out shortly after this small event, by a young woman. All clad in silver and white she came from the North. She remained a little while, to talk to the folks or maybe after she shared the posters everywhere.
[parchment]Thank you!
The donations from the Winter Bake Sale were given to the farmers of Beregost to cover lost crops and to buy new tools. We are grateful about every coin given, even from those who don't have much themselves.
Invitations for a celebration of the new year, held by theHalls of Inner Light, begin to circulate. The flyers are widely and freely distributed in thePalace District, at theFriendly Arm Inn, and beyond. The design and lettering glows softly like moonlight, as if by some lightly enchanted means.
Posters are hung out all around. Also flyers are handed out. In all public places and whereever there is just a tavern, there will be a poster. Several known young ladies give the flyers to people and also at the stall of a well known sunelf merchant they are layed out.
It shows what the folks have been missing in a while: a simple open stage. Simple? Not really, words spreads that this is a Charity Open Stage.
The poster itself shows a place in dark night. But a pure white Winter Jasmine flower blooms and colorful lights are shining in darkness. The name of it speaks of Midwinter, but rather in a hopeful and joyful way, meant to lift the spirits.
Also it is said, that nevertheless the usual price coins for the winner of the contest are still waving.
((OOC: The date and time for this lorewise inspired event is the 29th of January at 6 PM GMT/ 7 PM GMT+1/ 1 PM EST.

A moment of initiation and celebration will occur at the 'Holy Anvil' in the coming days, where new oaths to the King shall be made, and old oaths renewed. All Stout Folk that wish to pledge banners to Kraak Helzak are called into ceremony, and to witness a re-blessing of the actual Anvil, itself.
It is said that others than the Stout Folk are welcome, such as the Gnomish and those of "earthly" influence, to either join in or simply witness the Stone Rights and recognition of the Thunder Blessing.
// A general, open moment for IC pledging to the Kraak Helzak Allegiance of Clans. The idea is a round-the-clock event, as much as possible. Here are some definite IG times to have a KH guild member present:
Friday, February 9th at 22:00–24:00 GMT (server clock)
Saturday, February 10th at 11:00–14:00 GMT (server clock)
Saturday, February 10th at 21:00–24:00 GMT (server clock)

Tea's and tarts at Luna's Cafe
A stormy month awaits the Coast, and due to that the Foxy Four has decided to cease the remaining claw of sunsets this Ches, by opening a day of sales up at Luna's Café, by the Friendly Arm Inn. We will be serving a selection of tarts and teas at an affordable price. It is a charitable sale and all donations will be passed on to the farmers of Beregost. We hope to see you there!
A helpful young woman with silver white hair is seen in all reachable places around, carrying some of those posters as well. Wherever she is, she also stays a moment, playing a short melody that sounds stormy and cold.... Just to promise hope for spring and warm days coming soon then.
((OOC: *bump* The bake sale starts in only a bit more than an hour from now. ))

Words reach the right ears slowly and shadows speak in careful whispers, but they are rarely silent...
The world speaks of its troubles and the torment of it can be heard as a silent whimper for the misery to end.
The Cycle has been broken upon the coast and the laws of life and death defiled.
...Such is the curse of the coast.
There are those who share this pain and gather under the moonlight. They walk under dark canopies and listen to a realm crying for oblivion. They will be the ones that let it die, for such is the great cycle.
From life - death, and from death - new life, until only dust and ash remain.
Stand against the tides to be swept away by them.
Whispers spread of a Gathering under the Tree of Shadows, where plans are laid and grim tasks undertaken.
Under the sound of silence and with deep regret they toil. Spirits speak of those who would deliver the merciful final blow onto a dying world. Trees quiver in anticipation and the foolish flee from the turning of the final season's harvest.
...but the willing listen and flock to the cause.
We welcome you, martyr to the world.
We ask not of your past, nor speak of your future.
We know that the path is dark and it twists the heart of the weary traveler.
...we welcome you, martyrs to the world.
...we meet you under a Canopy of Shade.
The following message is posted to the message board in Baldur's Gate, as well as tacked to a sign near the entrance to the FAI, and Candlekeep. Whether the latter two remain long is to be determined. Regardless, the message reads as follows:
[parchment]I am Toman Ironarm, Blacksmith of the Phoenix Company.
I am looking for fellow smiths, or others with knowledge of forge and fire, or those with books of the above to learn from. I wish to learn the properties of more exotic materials, such as Salamander Hide, Darksteel, Cold Iron, Shederran, Duskwood, and other types not commonly found. I wish to study these and perhaps, in time, craft items from these materials. Should any who read this wish to aid me, I can often be found outside the Friendly Arm Inn.

"Now see, that's good information there. For a second, I thought you'd just met a chicken god."

You know, only on the Coast would that have needed to be said.
Posters and flyers are shared everywhere. Two people seem to wander around at various places. One is a gnome and one a woman with silvery-white hair, hanging and handing out with friendly smiles.
