Name: Of Blood and Demons.
Type: Investigation, Dungeon
Location: Northern Tradeway
Description:
An odd sight is seen on northern tradeway: small flying creatures harass wolves and tear them to pieces. The creatures laugh gleefully.
Outcome:
Five masked individuals, most of them orcs, leave a dungeon, having slain its powerful master. Or mistress. They narrowly avoid an encounter with force they could not possibly defeat, and begrugingly walk home. Few questions remain unanswered.
Progress:
Hidden: show
The quasits are ripping wolves apart, and piling them up, making some gruesome structure. Few orcs decided to investigate, and kill most of the quasits. The "abyssal rats" don't pose much challenge, but one of them is smarter than the others, and keeps distance, while taunting the orcs, continuously.

It is quyite obviosu that it is trying to lead them somwhere. And it is quite obvious that it is a trap. However, the orcs decide to follow and investigate.

The quasit leads them to dungeon, and closes the entrance behind them. Gleefully laughing, it disappears in the depth of the dungeons. The way out is now locked.

The place is eerie. Blood seeps from the walls, pools on the floor, which is covered by corpses. Many demons await inside, and the party fights its way through, with difficulty. More than once some of them fall and brought back to life, as succubi, hezrou and quasits are laughing in the dungeon.

And in the end the reach the final room, where they face the lord, or rather the "queen" of the dungeon. For a time it seems like the batle has come to standstill, and the party attempts bargaining. However the agreement cannot be reached, as the demon laughs at their offers.

The fight resumes, and this time around, the adventurers manage to win. The "queen" falls and dissolves into nothingness, and the annoying quasit that led them here suffers the same fate. One of the adventurers take wings as sovenier.

They gather richs and items found in the dungeon, and walk outside.... only to be met with a full regiment of hellriders who were investigating the quasit threat. 30 heavily armed and very skilled men, look at the party with suspicioun.

Yet common sense prevail, and the travellers manage to narrowly avoid the conflict. Hellriders let them leave and begin the investigation. Adventurers leave, some of them unhappy with this course of action.

Description:
A long adventurer is attempting to learn more information about the events that transpired near Northern Tradeway. The trail is getting cold.
Outcome:
The adventurer is saved from certain death by a passerby.... that probably misunderstood couple of things. There wasn't much left to learn about the events, as a lot of information was destroyed. The last encounter almost ended with death.
Progress:
Hidden: show
Following known information, the adventurer wanders around the area , looking for a certain location, that used to eb covered with blood and pile of flesh. The location is still there, but iti sn ow overrun by the wolves and cannot be approached easily.

The adventurer follwos the trail as he know further, and ends up in location where cryp entrance used to be... only to see the crypt being blown up by an armed patrol.

The patrol claims ti was done to protect the roads, although a wizard they were escorting seems to be disappointed by the loss of information.

The adventurer first attempted to sneak by the camp, but is quickly discovered and questioned by the captain... but deemed to be not a threat.

Attempts to extract more information from a local wizard proved unsuccessful, and same oculd be said about attempts to learn more from the ruins - as the crypt was thoroughl ydestroyed by the blast.

The armed group departs, and the adventurer follows it for a while, only to end up at the place where the journey started.

There, a lone quasit, bored and alone is looking at surroundings. The demon is willing to talk but not for too long. Once couple of pieces learned, the creature starts a fight, and the fight does not go well.

The adventurers survives by a miracle.

Name: Revenge of the Worgs
Type: Investigation/Battle.
Description:
An old man named ROland is pestering gate guards in Beregost to check up on his missing buddy. UNfortunately, he doesn't really know what the buddy's name was, and as result the guard stands unconvinced. Irritated, the old man attempts to ask some adventurers.
Outcome:
Two people are kicked out of Risen Phoenix inn, and Samuel can be heard yelling at them as they leave. Once they're gone, Samuel helps the old man to stand up. "Youngsters these day", grumbles the old man. The adventurers didn't really even tell the fate of his buddy, though this one would not be hard to surmise. Some questions are left unanswered.... yet somewhere a lone standing farm is now burned down.

PRogress:
Hidden: show
Bickering between guard and the old man caught attention of some adventurers that has been passing by. They ask about old man's predicament and offer help.

It seems that a buddy of the old man has gone missing and haven't been visiting the town for quite some time. The peculiar thing is that the old man doesn't seem to know the name of his buddy and keeps calling him "the dog guy". He says that the missing fellow kept talking about the missing dogs and that's how he eaarned the name. NOt many people believe that that buddy is real however.

Nevertheless adventures decide to depart towards the farm, following the path specified by old man's instructions. They find a house surrounded by Traps, and....

A large amount of blood past them. It would seem that the farm is abandoned, and the blood in the yard ouside belongs to what used to be cows or horses.

As darkness falls, they decided to check inside. Inside they find a torn shirt in a large pool of blood, and a diary page. As one of the more careful adventurers checks out the door, they realize that some beasts are approaching. They barricade the door, but two wolves jump through the window inside, and put up a surprisingly good fight.

The adventurers win this fight, but then a smell of smoke fills the air, and the house is now on fire.

They rush outside. Outside, under shine of the moonlight, a horde of large and strong wolves await them, seemingly led by two huge monstrous beasts, one of which seems capable of speech.

The adventurers attempt to slip by and are successful, but then they have a change of heart and decide to start a fight with the wolves.

Unfortunatley, the wolves are victorious.

Al but one adventurers have fallen. And wolves howl to celebrate their victories.

One sneakier party member still stands, and carefully distracting the wolves, manages to save corpses of his comrades. One is risen back from the dead and teleports away. Another one has vanished during the fire.

As the sneaky adventurer carries out corpses of his comrades, a huge wolf-like beast howls at the mooon, saying "O... ours! The... place... ours!", while an altar of Selnue stands next to the corn field. The wolf pack has one this time.

Back in beregost, the remainign adventurer brings his comrades back to life, and starts questioning the priest about the man the old man spoke of. THe priest recalls some details, and the unnamed person's interest in Selune, which seemed to be repaying some favor, but can't tell much beyond that. As one of the adventurers remains in the temple to recover, the total party number is now down to two.

Two remaining adventurers decided to visit the "old man roland" at the inn. They have their suspicions. They wonder if the old man was the one luring them into a trap, or if he has any motive. Unfortunately... the suspicions are proven to be incorrect.

Furious, the old guy stands up, and starts slowling walking to the door, as one of the adventueres trip him to see if he is faking his illness. It turns out that the old man did not fake it, as he falls down on the floor. Seeing elderly being harassed makes Samuel Fieldpost III angry, and he kicks both adventurers out of the inn.

Over course of the chat they don't even really tell about fate of his buddy, although he might surmise it by himself.

As the two remaining people stand under the rain, and discuss, couple of questions still remain unanswered....

Name: They got my brother!
Type: Encounter/Dialogue/Investigation
Location: Forest of Sharp Teeth:
Participants: Savvo, Oth Neren
Description: A woman runs towards two people passing through the forest. She speaks of bandits and asks for help.
Outcome: Two unfortunate adventurers leave the area, heavily wounded, but alive. They discuss the events that occured.
Progress:
Hidden: show
The adventurers follow the woman, but somehow... she disappears along the way.

However, they end up at a location with a broken cart and seemingly wounded person next to it.

Yet on closer inspection, the "person" turns out to be a dummy. As they look around, trying to make sense of the situation, few armed figures stand up from the bushes, and aim crossbows at the adventurers.

It is an ambush. One of the crossbowmen demands money. A dialogue ensues, and one of the adventurers decides to attack.

The group of bandits, however, proves to be quite experienced, and they win the fight with ease.

The adventurers fall to the ground, somehow still barely alive, and robbers check their pockets.

Picking some gold, they leave the adventurers for dead and disappear.

The people, however, manage to recover and return to safety - utilizing some of the healing plants found nearby.

One of them is furious, while another is looking at the situation in a more philosophical way.

Name: The things we lost...
Type: Dungeon/Action/Investigation/Spontaneous
Description: A group of surprisingly powerful undead emerges from baldur's gate graveyard cave and attacks nearby adventurers...
Outcome: Having defeated the reason fro the undead, the adventurers escape the dungeon, after almost blowing themslves up in the process.

Progress:
Hidden: show
Unfortunately for the undead, the people they attacked were skilled, and after dispatching the undead they decided to investigate the cave further.

Inside the cave, beyond the hordes of unead archers, there was a newly opened passage. The adventures proceeded through.

More undead awated inside, hiding behind barricades and traps.

Among them was one that did not attack the adventurers on sight, and for a while it seemed like it could be reasoned with. Accompanied by a zomebie rat, the ghost was sorrowfully complaining about something...

In the end, negotiations failed. The adventurers decided to fight the ghost, and his rat, and they were both defeated.

The adventurers moved on further.

Beyond the first floor of the undead, lied the crypt, where the adventurers confronted a fairly powerful vampire.

At the end of the crypt there was a room with books scattered about, and a skeletal body of the dead mage.

The group investigated the room, and accidentally triggered the magic circle in it, bringing yet another undead into existence. They managed to defeat it as well.

In the end one of the adventurers decided to blow up the room, sealing it. And by doing so, the adventurers almost collapsed the dungeon onto their head... yet narrowly survived.

They arrived short time later near friendly arm's inn, brought to their destination via a teleport.

Name: Double Ambush.
Type: Ambush/Encounter.
Location: Boarskyr Bridge
Description: Two people are talkign at campfire, when a man approaches them, yelling for help. He claims that bandits attacked him and wounded his sister.... however... he is very suspicious and does not sound convincing. One of the people present decides to investigate it anyway.
Outcome: The heavily wounded adventurer returns to the fire where his wounds are treated. He is wounded, but alive, despite losing significant amount of gold.
Progress:
Hidden: show
The adventurer follows the man that "needed help", however the man manages to disappear in the forest. Instead the adventurer is led to what looked like a broken cart with a dummy near it.

Suspecting a trap, the adventurer attempts to sneak around... and indeed, there are people waiting in the shadows, with their weapons ready. Strangely, they are very nervous and do not seem to be very experienced.

After careful consideration, he distracts the bandits with a pebble and lobs fire flask at them. Then combat begins.

The adventurer emerges victorious, but wounded. He investigates dead enemies for any identifying information... and then head to the broken wagon.

However... this is not the end. Larger group of people unblends from nearby shadows, and aim their crossbows at the adventurer. After brief discussion within the group, they demand money to let the adventurer leave alive.

The adventurer refuses, and attempts to start a fight. He quickly ends up on the ground, pierced by multiple crossbow bolts, barely alive.

The group takes some of his gold and disperses, leaving him for dead.

He drinks a healing vial and manages to find a way out of the forest back to the fort... where his wounds are treated. On the way back he finds a corpse with a slit throat - it is the guy that lured him in in the first place.

Name: Wolves!
Type: Encounter/Investigation/Ambush.
Description: Groups of people are harassed by unusually large number of wolves in areas surrounding beregost. Many of the wolves are unusually tough for the area. Some people decide to investigate the area further.
Outcome: The adventurers survive the encounter, but do not win. They limp back to beregost, while a shadowy figure is looking at them leave, grinning widely. The group stops outside of town, and discusses the possible options. One of the adventurers heads into the temple of Lathander, to warn the priest of the danger.

PRogress:
Hidden: show
Walking through multiple areas, two adventurers encounter large number of wolves that are both incredibly tough and incredibly ferocious. They're heading to beregost, but it seems that they're attacked at every step. They join forces with another on their trip to the area.

Finally, they made it into the town. They report their findings to the guard, but guard says that the town already knows about them, and is busy dealing with the lack of sheriff. The guard adds that so far beasts haven't tried to jump over the fence, so the city is safe.

One of the aventurers spot an old man limping towards travelling merchant. They talk to him, and even though the elderly man is initially suspicious, he eventually mentions about his buddy who had a farm and hasn't been heard of for a while. That seemed to be connected to wolf incidents.

The group decides to investigate.

Arriving at the farn, they find traps, many of which has been already set off by something, traces of battle that were already fading, and piles of bones. And a large numebr of wolf footprints. In the middle of investigation, they're confronted by a wolf pack that returns to this place.

One of the adventurers turns out to be a druid, and attempts communication. The wolves speak of powerful leader that makes them unafraid. They speak of their dislike of humans....
And eventually the talks fail, and the pack starts attacking.

While initially adventurers have the upper hand, they're overwhelmed. But, surprisingly, not killed.

A shadowy figure stands in front of them, laughing and ordering them to go back to their lands and fear.

"Those lands will be ours".

Name: Crypts and Adventurers.
Location: Fields of the Dead.
Type: Dungeon/Encounter

Description: A pair of people is slowly working their way through the crypt in the field of the dead. The undead are unusually resilient today, and they seem to be slowly getting overwhelmed....
Outcome: Two people stand outside of the crypt, discussing past events. One of them holds a vial.
Progress:
Hidden: show
The pair of people struggle against undead, but slowly makes progress forth. The undead seems to be smarter than usual, and more cunning - the archers fire from fortified positions on the pair of people. Yet one of them persists pushing forward, repeating the name of Morninglord.

And yet in the end of them falls. The persistent follower of morninglord drags the fallen comapnion to nearby room and attempts to bring the fallen one back to life.

Meanwhile, heavy armored footsteps echoe through the dungeon.

A dark figure walks the hall, indifferently killing undead that end in its path. It takes same path as adventurers did, walks ahead of them into the next room, where a crowd of undead awaits.
The undead are dispatched, yet adventurers catch up. The armored figure looks them over.

A misunderstanding occurs, and the eager follower of morning lord attempts to attack, only to be quickly dispatched. The armored figure indifferently walks away from the scene, ignoring the other person.

Remaining advneturer rushes to raise the fallen copanion, and finally manages to convince the stubborn lathandrite that it is the time to leave.

Outside, an unusual scene occurs before them. A small group of masked indiviiduals stand around their wounded companion. They turn attention to the adventurers.

The adventurer offer healing and manage to help the wounded person. Something they say, however, sparks suspicion of the masked group. However, the group decides to leave without starting the fight.

The adventurers remain. One of them picks something from the ground, and collects it into a vial. They stay, for a while, and discuss encounters, along with the past events they experienced.

Name: Birds, Goblins, Halflings and Wolves ("A Long day around beregost")
Location: Beregost and surroundings.
Type: Multievent. Combat, Investigation, Diplomacy, Social.

Description: A large number of goblins amass outside of beregost's abandoned mine. They scream, angrily, something about birds and their recently killed chief.
Outcome: After a long string of events, the day ended with many dead people, even more dead goblins, a halfling nearly dying from poison, one person being banished from the town and another being fined. The surrounding area are now littered in dead birds and dead goblins, and there are more dead wolves inside the mine than before. The guards inside the town are very irritated.

Progress:
Hidden: show
Few goblins outside of abandoned mine that is positioned near beregost, notice an odd bird in the tree. They try to hit it with a rock, but the bird dodges, effortlessly. It,however, keeps returning. The goblins keep trying, and eventually get angry.

The emotions boil, and shomehow the annoying bird reminds them of a recently killed chief. The wise chief, that tried talking to people before only to get blown up. The goblins rile themself up, and amass a crowd. Soon, a chief goblin takes over the group, and yells about killing all the birds, all the humans, avenging the chief, and taking the world of theirs. The goblins cheer.

Adventurers, alerted to goblin poresence, approach. The "chief" doesn't hear them, absorbed in his motivational speech. Until one of the goblins points him out the people that are standing behind him.

The adventurers attempt to speak. One woman approaches them to try diplomatic approach. Except... she says: "I killed your chief!".

The goblins scream, and attack the group to avenge their chief. And in a blink of an eye, most of the group is dispatched, due to large numbers of goblins present.

One person survives onslight of thrown rocks, and manages to return to beregost. They alert the guards, and head to the temple, to bring their comrades back from the dead. They exchange few words with temple preist, who is upset at yet another trouble appearing.

On their way back, they encoutner yet another person raising their fallen comrade from the dead. They decide to join forces.

The goblins, however, are still agitated. A new "rock thrower chief", replacing the one that fell in the previous encounter just a short while ago is elected, and once again, their group is combat ready.

The adventurers approach, firing magic spell. A fierce battle commences, but... goblins fall. Where there were dead birds on the ground, now are many dead goblins. Goblin blood covers grass around abandoned mine.

The adventurers overhear a sound inside the cave. Someone seems to be crying. The head in, carefully, and encounter the two halflings that remain in that cave most of the time. One of them is fallen on the ground and his brother is unsure what to do. Is it a result of attack, perhaps? No. The halflign is poisoned.

Someone carelessly spread poison inside the cave, perhaps in attempt to finish off the wolves that used to breifly inhabit the ruins. The choice of poison was quite odd for keeping animals in check, and the halfling got scratched by one of the poisoned objects. And now he is one the ground.

Investigation showed that there was more one poison working on the halfling, yet, fortunately, group had enough suitable spells and potions to deal with the issue. After few cast spells and a few potions, the poisoned halfling finally sits up and seems to be getting slowly better. Together, the halflings decide, for the first time in many years, to briefly leave the cave and rest at beregost. They walk out, on brother supporting another.

The group however that was part of the goblin encounter, decide to investigate the area further. One of the people in it think that the poison might spread.

So they retrace the steps, head back to the room previously used as a wolf den, and find very little. There's a poisoned corpse of a wolf there, few dead goblins that seemingly got affected by another poison, but the traces of wolf lair are rapidly disappear. Do the goblins, clean, perhaps?

The adventurers decide to set the room on fire for a good measure. They do so, and the dungeon is filled with stench of flames.

Yet the wolves are back. Some of them. A small group of very tough creatures. They attack the party, and the party has a difficult time defeating them. Slowly, they start progressing towards the exit. The number of wolves is nowhere close to what was present in the mine the last time, but the group is not as powerful, so the wolves prove a challenge. Few wolves escape the encounter, the rest is defeated. There are losses in the party, some people need to be brough back from the dead. Again.

The group heads outside of the cave, stops at a campfire and discusses their options. Few theories appear, but eventually the decide to head to beregost.

In beregost, they attempt to inform the guard about more thing outside of city, speak about possible disease, goblins being defeated, but... the guard, after having a long day, snaps. He demands magical licenses from the present mages that are heavily warded, and orders to have one of the adventurers hauled off to prison for being an obvious warlock. Instead of praise, part of the group gets thrown into jail.

Inside of the jail, a guard processes the offences. An unlicensed mage is fined for 7 thousand gold. While the warlock.... the warlock appeared to be relatively unknown in the city, so guards in the end decide on banishment. The offender is escorted outo f the city and is said to never enter it again.

The group discusses the outcome of the events at the temple, meanwhile. Some ideas are offered, some are worried about warlock's fate. The fined mage returns and brings the news.

The adventurers contemplate what to do next.

Name: Ambush at Boarskyr
Type: Ambush, Short.
Description: Two people are talking peacefully at Boarskyr, unaware of danger that is slowly approaching. Few figures are creeping through the shadows, with intend to surround them.

Outcome: Despite their attempts to put up resistence, the attackers emerge victorious, deprive their targets of some of their wealth, and disappear. The victims remain behind. Alive, but heavily wounded.

Event Progress:
Hidden: show
Two adventurers talk peacefully at boarskyr campfire, unaware of danger that is slowly approaching. Several figures creep through the shadows, aiming to surround them.

The attackers approach undetected, and encircle adventurers, still unnoticed. Then they emerge from the shadows, grab both adventurers, and demand gold - pressing blades against victim's backs.

The adventurers, however, decide to put up a fight and manage to free themselves from the attacker's grasp. A fight starts.

One of the adventurers falls immediately, shot by crossbow bolts, while another rushes into tower that stands near the campfire, and runs to the second floor, barricading the doors behind him.

The attackers make it to the first floor, and start working at the barred dor to the second one. At which point the adventuer tosses an acid flask through it.

The attackers manage to avoid damage, and demolish the door. Then they enter the room, unseen, and manage to defeat the last struggling victim.

They drag both people outside and check their pockets. "Was resisting worth it? The outcome is the same".

Then they disappear.

Name: Scrying Shadows
Type: Short, Investigation, Single lOcation.
Description: Two people hold vial of blood, and attempt to scry location of its owner....
Outcome: Despite scrying being successful, many questions remain unanswered.
Progress:
Hidden: show
Few day ago, two adventurers encountered a group of tieflings, one of them wounded. They healed the girl up, but thought the group to be suspicious.

As the group left, they took the opportunity and gathered the blood from the ground. Today, one of them decided to scry it.

Starting near Wyrm's crossing, they tried to find nearby location suitable for scrying and went to the opening near kobold ruins. Only to be immediately attacked by a few kobolds.

They deemed the location to be unsuitable, and relocated to the river bank. There, they started scrying ritual.

The ritual worked, perhaps due to luck, or perhaps due to target being wounded. However, it didn't uncover much. They saw a dark room, too dark to see in without darkvision, a lone figure of the girl in question, lying in the room near plate of half-finished food, still resting...

and a hint of presence of people nearby.

And then there was a song.

An eerie and sad song, in abyssal. It spoke of the deserts, crimsons sunrises, and death. The performer was quite skilled, yet the voice was not the one they could recognize.

Upon completing the scrying, the group was immediatley confronted by city watch guard, who demanded to know what they were doing. The adventures did not sound incredibly convincing, however, a fairly pointless attack of nearby kobolds made the guard change his mind, and he let them leave.

They moved back to nearby building to discuss their findings.

Despite scrying actually working, many questions remained unanswered.
