It has been a while, actually a rather long while, since I've gotten a character to level 30 on this server. I usually aim towards builds that get their primary perks at low or mid epics. (If not earlier.)
Thus the big question is, what should I do with my epic character that has been freed from the risks of experience loss upon death?
There is not a single bad suggestion you can make! You get more points for absurdity and comedy, even though no one sits on a judge's pedestal.
" I am no longer here, the elves of the Sword Coast are just far too horrible... "
Good question, I've been trying to figure this out for some time. Only answer I can figure out is just keep RPing, though it is hard to go out exploring now, since it doesn't really do anything.
Well, I guess the underdark has the pit fiend. Yet I've killed that thing over 200 times. I can solo the elemental, so it doesn't really last long in team fights.

dont RcR... Roll 12 Alts. it will take you so long to get them all to 30 it is un-achievable. and you have an amazing gold sink so you are never ever wealthy.
RP, which could include joining or establishing a guild, forum RP, helping out lowbies, etc.
You could do cyclical loot grinding and build up your hoard of gold and items.
Try to start a player-driven plot initiative, or see if a DM will help you out with it.
PvP tournaments.
I dunno, just some things that came to mind; you said there is no bad suggestion!

1) RP. Doi-h! You can do anything, from making a guild to selling wine with a hand-crafted description and name. Start a plot, even! Maybe it has to do with your character's background, maybe it has to do with another character. Maybe your character is plotting to overthrow some government. Write on the fourms, conspire with other players. If DMs pick it up, hurray for you. If they don't, then you are at-least making some fun for yourself and some other players.
2) Loot. MONEY MONEY MONEY $$$$$. Even if you don't need any gear, the random generator might give you something neat. Even if you don't need to buy anything for its stats, you can always buy items that have RP value, rather than mechanical value. Plus, money is good for bribing and additional gear is good for alts.
RP towards changing the world ! If that's in your character's goals that is .. otherwise there's still looting because who doesn't want a better weapon ?
