If I made a sorcerer/arcane scholar/dragon disciple/frost mage, which spells should I pick at each level? I have an idea of which spells I would want for RP and I therefore need no help in that regard, but, being used to playing wizards, I don't know which spells I should choose to make a sorcerer good at fighting enemies, both solo and in a group.

Hey Cosmic Ray,
Wow that's a lot of classes! What kind of level spread are you looking at on such a build (which PrC are you not taking to 10)? What sort of strategy are you looking at for taking on monsters? A gish type, dc caster, blaster, pure support, summoner, or something else? It's a bit hard to recommend spells with what info you've given so far.

Why Dragon Disciple? Not sure how good it would be in combo if you want to max out cl. If your not making some sort of "Gish Mage" ofc 
I would recommend doing something in the line of;
- Sorc/ASoC/FrM/BG (Last one just for saves, and Divine Shield)
- Sorc/ASoC/FrM/BM
- Sorc/ASoC/BM
- just make sure to take the feat "Practised Spellcaster" This to compensate for the loss of cl from BG or BM lvls .
Note: Also BM gives you the feat Skill Focus Concentration which is one step closer to ASoC
As for Spells:

No matter what, there are some must-have picks for sorcerers:
For Frost Mage:
Lesser Orb of Cold, Orb of Cold, Ice Darts.
If you have Frost Mage and ASoC:
Polar Ray.
A questionable choice:
Ice Storm. (There are better picks)

For general sorcerer:
1: A Lesser Orb, Shield, Reduce Person, Ray of Enfeeblement,
2: Blindsight, Bull's STR, Cat's Grace, Bear's Endurance, Mirror Images,
3: Improved Mage Armor, Displacement, Vampiric Touch,
4: Greater Resistance, Lesser Spell Breach, Enervate,
5: Lesser Mind Blank, Cloudkill, Teleport, Lesser Spell Mantle,
6: Issac's Greater Missile Storm OR Tirael's Orb Storm (something like that). Tirael's does less damage but does elemental damage, Bigby's Forceful Hand, Greater Heroism
7: Avasculate, Shadow Shield, Energy Immunity
8: Premonition, Horrid Wilting,
9: Mords, Bigbys 9, Etherealness (Can swap if you have boots of Ethereal)
Other stuff you can swap:
--Teleport if you want to use scrolls instead.
--Can swap out Bull/Bear/Cat for Abyssal Might if you have odd physical stats. Take Eagle's Splendor instead if you like.
--If you don't have frost mage, you can use Laeria's Starbolts instead of Orb. I would still take an orb though, as well.
