I pm'd Dm Golem about it already, but I'll mention it here as well. I suggest roster wipe (except group leaders and characters who were recruited to certain groups IG). The reason is people were applying blindly, based only on time and date and having no other information available to them, they didn't know what sort of mission would it be and who would lead it. It led to really weird, semi-random rosters (except #2). So the wiped rosters would look like this:

^ In the updated rosters, there are only names of group commanders and people who ICly joined certain groups. It allows others to join the groups they actually want to join / their characters fit in.
p.s. Also, 15 00 GMT is waaaay too early for me, it would be nice to swap with Sane's group as I know druids are playing in the early GMT time range so it might be alright for them to attend this early.
I believe that was at least partially intended, given that it's supposed to be that we're charted into these groups by command with no say in it.
And it'd also cause a horrendous mess to re-start now

Its also the way to ensure everyone gets to take part in something, in a way that can be organised DMside as well.
The process is not going to change although I will tweak the lists here and there where I can.

There is an off camera slot which is "assisting Eltan's movements". A catch all of fighting alongside several hundred Flaming Fist. In that circumstance the precise abilities of your PC do not matter so much, but all PCs not outlawed are welcome to join it.

Given I at least partially went with Event 4 over Event 1 due to Jalib being commander and it being high-risk, would anyone in Group 3 be willing to switch with me? I can live with it if not.

I would suggest Kahanak, RP wise he's the least wanted member at Jalib's team. (no offense to the player!)

He's pretty high up on Duke Eltan's list of expendables though!

- there will be an IC "call to arms" issued to notify persons to attend a briefing, which will be open to all. That is "ICly" where the PCs are allocated to various commanders.
- The High Risk event is "High Risk of Failure" not "High Risk of Permastrike"

Does it mean rosters can be spontaneously changed after the briefing?
