Durlag’s Kung fu illithids

I’ve noticed the illithid’s in Durlag’s tower seem to behave differently than the ones in the illithid mines, in that they always charge in to strike instead of using their mind blast.

Their Kung Fu is not good!

I think that level of the tower is a higher CR than the mines no? Seems like they should be more of a challenge than less.

Also I’d recommend giving them their mind blasts over improving their Kung fu but that’s just me.
