at the church of Umberlee, offerings were made - star sapphire, blood, and a rent golden idol of a snake ...
The Herald arrives again at the The Water Queen's House on schedule, the staff of the Church hurrying about him at first, until moments after his presence, a calming charm lays over them all, and the persons around him sway in unison like waves lapping upon a smooth shore.
The servant of the storm is given word and shown the result of a visit by a troupe to the House, and the set of offerings given. After attention and observing the gifts, the Herald collects up the star sapphire, holding it in his hand with some admiration in his eyes, to say: "This is taken to honor the greater power of the Fury."
The Herald directs the temple staff to clean up the rest of the offering and organize the hall for a service to the Storm. But before the event, he demands of one of the more bright-eyed temple staff, to speak: "Tell me priest...to where did this troupe carry onward?"
As autumn winds turn cold heralding the soon arriving winter chill, winter ice, and the reduction of sea-based travel from freezing waters and descending cold, the Water Queen's House holds an impromptu sermon, led by the Servant of the Storm, to calm the coastal waters still, with praise and gifts offered to the Water Queen, so that the sailors shall return home to families of the most dedicated to showing worship and humbleness before Her.
As the winds turn colder and the waters around Baldur’s Gate turn colder still, the Half-elven Jon Smythe, proprietor of the Chionthar Charter & Seaward Supply Co., having recently been active above normal within the Docks District of the Gate querying sailors and boat captains whenever possible, is heard to have visited the Water Queens House in recent days, to seek a blessing by the Houses clergy on ships related to…well, it is not known openly exactly what, but by the earnestness in the Half-elven’s voice, it seems not only important, but altogether of some urgency.
/// Seeking any active PC clergy for some IG RP related to the above. Looking at you Dread Wavecaller!! And/or others without Titles….

A message arrives for Jon Smythe, proprietor of the Chionthar Charter & Seaward Supply Co. at his place of business.
The salt-rimed, water-stained parchment simply reads:
"Seek Dread Wavecaller Perle Wynn at high tide by the docks."
Activity has graced the main chamber of the Umberlant temple the past few days. Petitioners of all sorts come pay grace to the Sea Queen, and as winter rapidly approches and the harbor prepares itself for the time it is frozen and the ships stop, the priestesses likely find themselves quite busy.
The newcomer priestess, known as Korina, is also one that seemingly has tried to stir activity within the temple, making herself available to welcome any with an interest or request toward the temple, alleviating the burden of Storm Priestess Jalantha while at the same time carving her own place in the local church.
