Non-comparable items for diff build types. STILL

I'd really like to know how +4 EB, 2 cold damage, and GLOWING (just what every rogue wants when they're trying to hide) is even remotely equivalent to this:

Butterfly's Edge
Enhancement Bonus: +4
Damage Bonus 1 piercing
Keen
Massive Criticals 1d8
Improved Saving Throws: Reflex: 2
Skill Bonus: Escape Artist: 4, Skill Bonus: Tumble: 4, Weight Reduction: 10%

So.... what was this sword moved to the loot table that was more unbalanced than this? Keen AND Massive crits? Why is it ok to give overpowered heavy weapons and weak light weapons?

Take the light off of the moon sword and change the damage to 1d4, and give it hide and ms bonuses of +3 each. Please. Or +2 Will saves. Or BOTH since Butterfly's Edge has both save and skill bonuses. Please. Why do I even have to ask? Why is Butterfly's Edge fine as it is but every idea for a light weapon gets nerfed or buried in loot tables? WHY?

Well, the sword I suggested was meant to fulfill your original request for a quick and easy but good +4 small finesse silver weapon. The light was based on the weapon's lore. The goal was not to create a new epic weapon which would have required a heck of a lot more debate (the weapons in that store were debated for over 6 months before it was added). But it was decided that it wasn't needed because the Gullykin store already has a good silver short sword.

+3 is not good. +3 is 25% greater miss chance than +4. I've been over this. Over. And Over. And Over. Please explain to me why there are TWO plus four silver katanas, 1 +4 silver battleaxe, 1 +4 silver longsword and 1 +4 silver spear but the ONLY +4 silver light weapon has been a dagger for ages. Is it that the devs don't care about build types they don't personally play? Cause I see a whole lot of love for warlocks and casters and crossbow snipers (*cough* + SIX attack bonus crossbow in greenest), but small melee chars? Pfft, who cares, right?

Also, that gullykin sword is not available in the Underdark. The "small arms" weapons dealer in S'shamath doesn't have it. Never has.

Dude.

Maybe go take a walk or something. No one deserves to be spoken to like that, and especially not our DEV team.

Asked and answered.

Please keep in mind that your "requests" are heard, but we haven't and won't make custom-order weaponry because someone demands it on the forums. Weapon types and variations are always being discussed and created, but as Rhifox has mentioned these things take a while to hash out.

Thread locked. I'd suggest following up in PMs (and not bringing this rancor to the forums again) if you aren't happy with the outcome.
