I'd really like to know how +4 EB, 2 cold damage, and GLOWING (just what every rogue wants when they're trying to hide) is even remotely equivalent to this:Rhifox wrote:Zura shortsword removed from Kopo stores since matelener felt it was a bit too strong for a store and should stay just in loot tables. A new alchemical silver short sword has been added to the store instead: Moon-touched Sword (+4 EB, 2 Cold damage, dim white light).
Butterfly's Edge
Enhancement Bonus: +4
Damage Bonus 1 piercing
Keen
Massive Criticals 1d8
Improved Saving Throws: Reflex: 2
Skill Bonus: Escape Artist: 4, Skill Bonus: Tumble: 4, Weight Reduction: 10%
So.... what was this sword moved to the loot table that was more unbalanced than this? Keen AND Massive crits? Why is it ok to give overpowered heavy weapons and weak light weapons?
Take the light off of the moon sword and change the damage to 1d4, and give it hide and ms bonuses of +3 each. Please. Or +2 Will saves. Or BOTH since Butterfly's Edge has both save and skill bonuses. Please. Why do I even have to ask? Why is Butterfly's Edge fine as it is but every idea for a light weapon gets nerfed or buried in loot tables? WHY?
