Re: Kingdom of Kraak Helzak Role Play (IC)
On a cold winter night, a dark-haired tiefling can be seen struggling under the weight of a redheaded human girl, carrying her through the gates and into the temple. The tiefling seems ill-suited to the challenge of carrying a woman her own size, only managing the task through undoubtedly considerable help from her magical items.
The duo had previously been seen crossing the bridge from the south, fighting any trolls on the way with an almost practiced ease. Now, the redhead's body was pale, battered, and by all appearances, lifeless. After she is returned to life at the temple, their conversation seems to indicate that the girl had somehow frozen to death; her outfit certainly seemed ill-suited to wandering outside in the cold, but one of the rings she wore should have been enough to keep her healthy, if not comfortable. On the other hand, even the ring has limits... Perhaps magic, or water, was at work?
At any rate, after spending the night at the Burning Troll with the tiefling, the redhead could be seen quietly wandering back south in the direction of Baldur's Gate...

Re: Kingdom of Kraak Helzak Role Play (IC)
Ageing and graying human man wearing humble earthly colored attire arrives to Kraak Helzak by relative safety of Rocky Creek Caravan. He looks lost for a moment and after a moment musters his confidence to talk to nearby dwarves. First he is told to sod off, but after a few attempts of conversation he is fairly and bluntly directed to nearby Burning Troll Inn after his inquiries. There he shares words with the innkeeper giving her a notice written in common. A promise of fair payment in exchange for expertise and skill of the dwarves. The man then spents and hour or two in the inn, before heading back to the caravan stop. Anyone visiting the inn and looking for opporunity or work might be told of the mans proposal
//PM or see me in game if interested
Greetings,
I'm Kervel Greencrest. Priest of Chauntea and enthusiastic Botanist. I'm interested in the local plants and fungi that lives underground beneath the earth here and I'd think of no better guides for these tunnels than dwarven people. If you are looking for work and are willing to help me, for fair payment of course, please send a response via the Rocky Creek Caravan back to Baldur's Gate. I shall then seek you out in this inn and we can discuss terms and other details.
The Great Mother bless you with warmth, growth and days full of life,
Kervel Greencrest

Durlog was recently spotted again in Kraak Helzak. This time he spent a lot of time in the tavern talking with Bhor Stonecutter himself over the ale. If asked for details, the innkeeper replies that he heard Durlog expressing his desire to become a Citizen of the city, which was met with sincere approval from Bhor.
After a dozen or so pints of ale, the two dwarves ventured deeper into the fortress and were seen in almost every corner of it, including the Upperdark.

Words gets out that the socially awkward wych of Rashemaar has been asking for those who would be willing to trade secrets or services for having a dwarf vouch for an audience with the King. The reason for this audience is to petition them for a Star Ruby. Rewards and ale promised for assistance in the matter.

A polite druidess arrives at the gates of Kraak Helzak in the morning. She greets those that look to her in a long-unpracticed dwarvish, and makes her way to the temple of Berronar Truesilver, the Matron of Hearth and Home, where she proceeds to have a long and friendly conversation with the priestess regarding the deities of the Morndinsamman. After some time, she'd leave with a satisfied smile on her expression.

Once more, a druidess some of the dwarven citizens of Kraak may now know as Runa comes to the city. Once more, she speaks in a broken dwarvish with some of the present dwarven priests. Before she sets out once more, she leaves an offering at the shrine of Marthammor Duin, the Finder of Trails.
She doesn't go far at first when she leaves the city's gates, and spends a couple hours in still meditation by the river, close enough to be protected from the trolls by the dwarven keep, but far enough to be undisturbed. After a while, she sets out south along the river.

Re: Kingdom of Kraak Helzak Role Play (IC)
On a rainy night on the 19th of Eleint, Lysander Goodman, Dawnbringer of the Morninglord, arrived at the dwarven hold of Kraak Helzak. He was seen in the resplendent colours of his deity as he stepped into the grand hall of the dwarves. His visit was short, but filled with a purpose. He left a missive, calling for any skilled stonemasons and architects.

For the attention of who it may entail
I, Lysander Goodman, Dawnbringer of the Morninglord, am searching for the famed and revered skills of the dwarven stonemasons and architects. I would wish to speak to any who would be willing to take on the project of repairing and replacing the recently ruined bridge outside of Beregost, one of a sturdier stone build, a bridge that will stand the test of time, a symbol of the unwavering resolve of the village.
I would also like to enquire about a memorial statue to be erected on the bridge site, to honour the sacrifice of my fallen brothers of the Morninglord in their defense of the city.
If there are any who are able to assist, send a missive to the Song in the Morning in the village of Beregost.
My most gracious thanks in advance, and may Lathander's grace be on you all.

A dwarven woman and her pet pig have become a common sight in Kraak Helzak's grounds.
At least once a day, she leaves a gold coin atop Vergadain's shrine.

Two elfs from village of En Dharasha Everae arrives outside Kraak Helzak. It is First mage Natariel Alastrarra and the enigmatic Deleniel Vanaer. They are greeted by the King's Hammer Bhor Stonecutter, who guides them inside the kingdom.
They walk deep and end at a mushroom farmers garden where they sit down and speak. From laughter and jests to more serious matters they speak. Most importantly, they speak of the many dangers of the northern lands and a will to strengthen the bonds between Kraak Helzak and En Dharasha Everae.
There is a great difference between dwarven and elven cultures and traditions. But alas they also have many similarities due to their long lives and need for a stable and secure society,
Natariel, Deleniel and Bhor decide to meet next week to discuss a proposal to their leaders. They hope it will please even traditionalists and isolationists in their communities.

The third meeting between Kraak Helzak and En Dharasha Everae this year.
A envoy of elfs, First Mage Natariel Alastrarra, Riven and Alariador meets with Bhor Stonecutter, the King's Hammer of Kraak Helzak.
This time they discuss the details of the written contract that they will propose to their respective leaders. It is decided that Bhor will do a first draft and send it to Natariel for correction and vice versa until both parties are pleased.

A visibly road-weary dwarf enters through the large gates of Kraak Helzak, his arrival immediately welcomed by The Watchful Eye...a sign no faithful would fail to give back recognition....

Beneath the anvil statue of the Kingdom, the renown King's Hammer of Kraak Helzak and a arriving Volamtar of the Stout Folk meet for the first time, as omens and opportunities arise both above and below the mountain range of the Troll Claw Hills.
