Speaking only for myself, I believe players need the option to exclude themselves from this list and ideally, this should be functionality that is included before being brought live. If only to protect the privacy of those players who do not wish to be included on this list.

players that exclude themselves from this could just show up as "Anonymous" or something, no names, just a presence

Yeah I talked about it with GED adding another option for this exclusively. Once it is there the script can use it pretty easily before it compiles a list of people to display
