Languages of Kara Tur

I am considering making a Koryan character but had a question regarding the languages,

On your Wiki it says that "The [shou] language is normally used in trade with foreigners and is commonly known across Kara-Tur as a tongue to do business in, which most merchants are proficient with."

So my first question, in regards to Kara Tur in general, is whether the Shou language could be seen/used, on the server, as the equivalent of 'Common', and would make most Kara Turans eligable for it?

Second, it says that Koryan is "grammatically similar to Kozakuran, but it is very distinct in vocabulary, with words perverted from Shou and Wa tongues, as well as the root han tongue." (Kara-Tur - The Eastern Realms, p. 120)

So, could the character be eligable to Kozakuran, if Koryan is rp'ed as a dialect of it somehow?

Both Shou and Kozakuran are available on the server. Koryan is not available as a pure language. I am unaware if you can choose them on level up or not so you may need to request them from a DM. Our general rule is play what is on your sheet, so if you have those languages, roleplay them accordingly. Kozakuran would need to be Kozakuran. Your best bet is to submit a biography if you cannot take them at levelup and then send in a request and reference the biography.
