Blood Component rule

Since Blood Magus is more then familiar with such way of casting and with using blood of the others and her own to cast spells, may I ( as a Blood Magus) recognize ( sense ) other Blood Magus who is using Blood Component in my presence ?

No, blood component is only a pin prick so the amount of blood is hardly noticeable by anyone by the description (as a tiny pin prick). There is no spellcraft set up to recognize blood magic in any regard and players cannot force rolls on other players so really it's not appropriate to recognize the 1 damage from a blood mage as proof of their ability. That said, players can of course roleplay an agreed upon situation to discover other blood mages if they so choose. It is important to be respectful with an OOC approach as using that one damage produced by blood component IC'ly is metagaming the mechanic and we do not want to force other players into situations they do not wish OOC.
