Not sure if this goes here but...

I have read and been told that no one may have a moniker after their name unless a dm approves and sanctions it. Therefore i would petition to be allowed to change my current character Agathion's last name to "the White". He already wears white and glows white so having the title (the White) would suit him nicely i think. Can this be done?

Historically, Titles have to be earned. And that is a long-term investment...usually years on the Server, in the position where or how the Title relates.

It was my understanding that "TITLES" meant monikers like SIR, LORD, LADY, KING and so on and so forth. You can call yourself anything you wish just not Lord Agathion the white as that denotes a title. Agathion the white is not a title IMO nor would it be something a DM could grant this would be up to the RP of the person by introduction of himself as such. To me DM granting of title usually means you have done a bunch of RP with some NPC that has the ability to grant actual meaningful mechanical title. At least that is the interpretation I got from that part of the rules. I could be wrong.

And finally, please use a name rather than a description (no "Big Man" or "Larry the Wizard") for your character. A character in violation of this rule may log in to find the character with a new name.

You are correct though that you cannot have a title or descriptor in your character's mechanical name. We would not change this for simply using the appearance changer and a spell or effect.

Hmm well i dont understand why player have to copy everything they heard or read i mean you only have to get a name and beliveing it like if we pick the name Meriln couse there a wizard name Meriln it is copy couse there is a Bird name Merlin there so many tv show where the Merlin is in it and then some one pick the name and one ones pick name Darth something you and by the way evertime i see one pick a knowing name i will not play with you so Yellowbeard is name from a pirate's movie and so on and it couse like with modern names like Jack and the giantslayer come on you can do it better

You can name your character "Agathion White", and he can simply introduce himself as "Agathion the White". It works here because White is a generally accepted surname.

Just as Larry can have the floating name tag of "Larry" but when he introduces himself he says "Larry the Wizard".

I had not thought of that lol... ill just call myself Agathion the White and leave my last name as it is. It worked for Gandalf the Grey and his last name was not "the grey" either.

If you introduce yourself with a title or something for long enough, others will follow suit, especially if they respect your character

well rememeber the Gandalf the Gray was he not the wizard in some Orders so you just copy that order Gandalf has a last name it was the Stormcrow and there was a White and gray and Brown and the blue there was 2 wizard the blue so again it was a order well what the beep just copy it and bu the way you can name you char Lighting Jack but you just you faith on you re char and give him a use name and think it will help you in this World hahaha
