Re: RP guidance request: Paladin of Tyr
First, to address the matter of paladins in general. All paladins are beholden to the same code of conduct, which we have presented here:

The most important parts here are the yellow text. That is what the DM team looks at when they are determining if a paladin is within the grace of their god.
There are several ways of approaching paladins of Tyr, but I would begin by looking up the source book Faiths & Avatars and learn about the church of Tyr in general.
Beyond that, Tyr is the leader of the Triad, consisting of Tyr, Torm and Ilmater. In that regard, there are at least two orders of so-called Triadic Knights. The Knights of Imphras II and the Knights Kuldar. These are described in Champions of Valor and Lands of Intrigue (which didn't have an archive link right now), respectively.
The Order of the Radiant Heart is also an approach. In canon, they are an order of priests and paladins of Tyr, Torm and Helm.

Just additionally to what Ghost said, we are in the process of revamping the Radiant Heart Auxiliary, we will come to a decision soon. Joining as a Squire of the Radiant Heart could be a good way to RP the learning process.Eryndor wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 9:22 am Hello,
I've made a character that is a paladin of Tyr. However, I fear my knowledge is not sufficient to portray it well enough.
I'm looking for a couple of things:I'm of course looking to gain more understanding myself, and have read what I could find on wiki's. But knowing lore, and RPing it properly are two different things. So I'm hoping to get some help, or maybe become an IG squire to someone, to enhance my understanding further.
- Lore on behaviour, dogma, etc. of paladins of Tyr
- Known guilds, temples, etc. in game, of Tyr
- Known characters perhaps? Currently active?
If my search leads to nice RP avenues, then that is of course very welcome!
Thank you in advance for your time.

Knights of Holy Judgment: This order attracted those who emphasized the "lawful" aspect of Tyr's faith. They specifically hunted devils, whom they viewed as perversions of true "lawfulness".
Knights of the Merciful Sword: These knights stressed the "good" facet of his teachings.

We can try to meet up in game at some point to talk about the Radiant Heart. So you stand out, if you put a message in the Scry section about being a follower of Tyr, it does help those on the look out.
