The spike is not much higher than the current spike of Deflection AC at the same point. In any case, this is how Duelist works in pnp.
Will Fighting Defensively satisfy the requirements for Thief Acrobat's Agile Fighting to increase the AC bonus from +1 to +2?
Yes.
Also as an fyi to all, the original post is somewhat out of date. An updated one will be posted closer to launch.

If that's how it works in PnP then alright. The spike right now, when it's giving Deflection AC is only +1 or +2 over an item. The new spike will be +7 regardless of items.

How does Freedom of Movement help to defend Bigby? I suppose the help won't be totally immunity, or it's too chilly to the new feature Grappling. Will it be some bonuse to defender roll againist Bigby?
For example, Bigby7, if I'm not wrong:
Attack Check:
Attacker: D20 + Caster Level + Ability Modifier + 9, versus:
Defender: AC or Escape Artist (which is better)
Hold Check(check each round):
Attacker: D20 + Caster Level + Ability Modifier + 14, versus:
Defender: D20 + BAB + Str Modifier + Size Modifier
I think FoM will give some bonus (number depends on caster level?) to defender roll result in hond check?
The Freedom of Movement spell in PnP confers the following:
The subject automatically succeeds on any grapple check made to resist a grapple attempt, as well as on grapple checks or Escape Artist checks made to escape a grapple or a pin.
stepped away for a bit. gave these changes some thought. have come back with a fresh take
i'm all for adding new and interesting things. adding more options. i'm not a fan of nerfs or unnecessary changes
3.0-3.5 is already crunchy. imo we should be working towards simplifying it, not making it more crunchy. tumble and ce as they come with nwn 2 are simple enough as is, and they work, and i dont feel they need to be changed. that said, some of the other proposed changes look interesting, such as changes to freedom of movement and bigby
to add to the latter, towards simplifying the mechanics, we should be doing things like combining hide/ms into one skill, stealth, and listen/spot into one skill, perception

ooooh, so it will automatically make opposed checks and stuff for RP-hits without actually having to engage with the engine? So we make the roll and can pose off the actual note that says "so and so Melee yadda yadda and hit"?
Yup!

question about improved kd. if you take kd you get imp kd free? now kd itself, not imp kd, raises the creature size by one of what you can knock down? and why does staff feel the ab nerf to use imp kd is necessary? and why does using kd now provoke an aoo from the foe? i dont follow the logic

Normal KD (which has the AOO) is free for all characters. Improved KD is now what you take with feats, and removes the AOO and increases the size bonus. Both new KDs also take int account Enlarge (and Reduced) Person for the purpose of size modifiers.
So, if you currently have Improved KD, you will now have a bonus feat to spend on something else. If you currently have normal KD, you will now have Improved KD.
The only ones that have to worry about the AOO are people with the free version of KD.
