The well known tiefling and bardess Sera could be seen travelling around the areas of the city and further towards the Friendly Arm Inn. She would place posters wherever she could find a place for, it seems that she is advertising an event.
End of Marpenoth celebration

Come and enjoy a night of music, fancy dress and dice games at the Darius estate.

Performances!

Exquisite outfits are encouraged!

Daring truths and questionable dares with dice games!

Where? Darius estate in the Wide!

When? The thirty first of Marpenoth!

((OOC: Halloween party event, starting around 10pm GMT UK time))

Another event is being announced. Posters are hung out in each public place. Wherever there's a Black board, there will be a poster. This time it seems more official: Another Mage fair is coming!

One year ago, as the time of Troubles ended, the scholars and spellcasters bid farewell to Deneir and greeted the Third Mystra.

*A flier is placed around Amn as well as in Beregost, in the FAI, in Baldur’s Gate, in Elturel, and Greenest over the coming and past tenday.*
The Everwatch vigilantly invite beings to participate in a Shieldmeet festival in Nashkel two hours after mid-day on the day of Shieldmeet. The Everwatch plan to conduct a Ceremony of Honor to Helm on this day and invite all those of non-evil faiths to venerate their gods in Nashkel in accordance with their holy Shieldmeet associated rites — as long as non-chaotic in nature. All attending will be expected to follow the laws of Amn and Nashkel.

The town of Nashkel has been through a lot over the past two years and we intend to make this a celebration and commemoration of its vigil that will be a day to remember!

Helm Protect Nashkel! For the Glory of Amn!

Signed: Watcher Wai Li

((We plan to RP this festival on Sunday, July 28 at 19:00 GMT. Thanks for the RP!))

To All Those Willing and Able,

The matter of Ulgoth's Beard has become one of dire concern along the Sword Coast. In response to this grave threat, the Radiant Heart has been commanded to muster a company to assist in addressing the demon infestation. While there will be numerous tasks to undertake, the principal objective of this effort will be to enter and purge one of the tunnels being utilized by the demons to maintain their foothold in Ulgoth's Beard. There are two additional tunnels, as well as a variety of smaller tasks that will likely require attention during this campaign. The Radiant Heart will gladly accept the aid of any willing and worthy soul to assist in this endeavor.

The nature of this battle is unpredictable, as previous scouting efforts have yielded only limited information. However, several critical threats posed by the enemy have been identified:

Necromantic Powers: The foe possesses significant necromantic abilities, reanimating the fallen to turn them against their former allies.

Drowning Magic: They have demonstrated the capacity to induce magical drowning, necessitating strong magical defenses to counter this deadly attack.

Overwhelming Numbers: The demons hold the advantage of sheer numbers, with Balors commanding vast hordes of lesser demons.

Aerial Superiority: Many among their ranks, including Vrocks, possess the ability to fly, using this mobility to flank, harass, and carry off the wounded, fallen, or isolated. This tactic makes cohesive defense and strong coordination essential.

A more comprehensive report of the enemy's capabilities is currently being compiled by skilled and insightful minds. Once complete, it will be made available with all due urgency to assist in preparing for the battle to come.

Grand Duke Eltan is preparing a coordinated effort not merely to retake Ulgoth's Beard but to eradicate this demonic scourge from the Sword Coast entirely. This campaign will require a combined effort on all fronts, utilizing a variety of strategies, including:

Assault by Land and Sea: A united front on multiple approaches to press the enemy.

Magical Support: The arcane arts will play a critical role in countering the enemy’s necromancy and devastating spells.

United Faith: The assistance of every willing and able battle cleric of any upright and righteous faith will be crucial to this endeavor.

This is no small task, and it will demand courage, coordination, and dedication from all who step forward. Together, we shall stand against the tide of darkness and ensure the Sword Coast is freed from this blight.

For those wishing to take part but unsure of where to begin, I suggest preparing personal supplies of magical protections, elemental defenses, and the various munitions you may require. Those not suited to direct combat but still desiring to serve can provide critical support by assisting with supplies, logistics, and triage for the combatants. The Radiant Heart is ready to assist any willing individuals—requests may be made in person at the chapterhouse or via a letter to our order or one of its members.

Further instructions and preparations will follow. May those willing steel themselves for the battles to come.

Apricity means “the warmth of the sun in winter" - brilliant sunshine that warms you despite being surrounded by ice and snow. Apricity isn’t only about the weather, however. It can define an unexpected change in attitude when your heart senses a feeling of hopefulness. Not entirely committed, but willing to accept that while all may not be well, there is wellness at this moment.

Orphic can have a mystic or oracular meaning, having an import that is not apparent to the senses or obvious to the intelligence.

Hear one and all!
With everything that's going on around the coast, and with the spring weather finally arriving, The Bladestone Foundation has decided to bring everyone together for a few nights of bouts and fun. As anyone going into battle knows, you need to keep your skills sharp, have some enjoyment along the way, and it never hurts to boast a little, therefore, starting now we will be hosting a series of events, leading up to the summer, that hopefully accomplish all three! Starting with a proper martial tourney, leading to a series of mage duels and culminating in an open stage night of drinks, jokes and tomfoolery. Whether you are warrior, scout, mage or jokester, please join us for any or all at the Warrior's Rest! The first two events will be focused on the test of skill while the last should serve as a proper space to unwind and embrace the summer spirit. There will be about 2-3 tendays space between the events, with details posted separately for each. Every event will offer drinks and food in the inn proper, along with exotic refreshments provided both at the inn and the arena, so even if you don't come to fight, come join us to enjoy others' prowess and some delicacies and luxury.

For the first we will be starting with a martial tourney, specific rules will be announced at the start of the tourney, some depending on how many people will sign up, so we would like to ask each who thinks of joining to make sure to come properly at the beginning for a sign up. For prizes, you will receive tokens that will offer the aforementioned bragging rights, with a mysterious but fun grand prize for the winner. The martial tourney will welcome anyone in any walk of life, be it a warrior or scout or other. You can bring a bow if you like but you will be restricted to the size of the arena, and lastly for the ones depending on guile, there will be limit on how long you can stay hidden in your smoke bombs and twisting shadows.

So everyone come and join us at the WARRIOR's REST, on ((Sunday, the 4th of May)) at ((18 GMT, that is GMT not BST)) and we hope you enjoy yourself!

Hello, hello, my good Mages, Spellcasters, Magic Users, and fans!
As promised, on the heels of the Bladestone Foundation Martial Tourney, we are now announcing our planned Spell Duel Tournament! As some of you may or may not know, a Mage Duel is both a competition and a Mystran ceremony. A Mage Duel is an opportunity for those of us that tap into weave, to show our skill, to learn and exchange knowledge and ideas while testing our mettle. As such you can expect this event to be lead by a small give of thanks to the Lady of Mysteries, followed by a competition and hopefully a grand show of the wonders of magic. As all magic on material plane taps into weave, I would like to invite anyone, who considers themself a spellcaster, be it arcane, divine or any in between, to come and participate, show us their skill and give small thanks to our Lady for the wonders we receive thanks to her and her line. In a similar vein, as bardic music is derived from magic and Words of Creation, it and bardic abilities derived from it, will be considered magic for purposes of this duel. I also invite all of you who want to watch the beauty of magic to come and cheer us on, to enjoy exotic refreshments and be merry.

With that being said, any and all who use magic may participate in the Spell Duel Tournament, however please keep in mind that as this is a Mage Duel, magic is the key element that will lead to victory. Rules being as follows:
1) No weapons may be used in the Duel, with the exception of weapons created by a spell, like Enchanted Blade, or Shapechange. Unarmed combat may only be used to deliver a spell's effect to your enemy.
2) No scrolls, potions, wands, staffs or other magical implements will be allowed, as this is a competition of magic, not traders and coinpurses.
3) At the start of each Duel, up to 3 wards will be allowed in preparation and more can be cast during the duel, if both participants agree on lower starting number, they may follow such agreement.
4) Area spells will be allowed, however only in the case that they fit within the confines of the arena, if your spell overflows from the arena, or misfires or otherwise threatens the spectators or the building, you will be immediately disqualified even should your spell otherwise net you win, please bear this in mind and if you are not sure about your spell's size, use another.
5) Other mundane skills such as shadowdancing will be allowed, as long as they are not a physical attack on your opponent. For example you may use the likes of shadows to prepare a spell or deliver an attack with your Enchanted Blade, but you may not use grapples, knockdowns and such.
6) Leaving the arena during a duel substitutes a resignation, an opponent may be forced to leave the arena to same effect, but only as long as such is a result of a spell.
7) Conjuring allies is allowed, including familiars, they are exempt from the confines of the arena, but should they in any way threaten the spectators or the building you will be disqualified.

We are looking forward to see you all at the Warrior's Rest Inn on ((Sunday the 25th of May, at 19:00 GMT, I am moving the start up by 1h to perhaps allow more people to participate, since the last event didn't take up as long as I thought it might)).
