Weight: 220 lbs. (100 kg)
Ilir has dark olive-toned skin, intense turquoise eyes, and raven-black hair, which is always cut short.
His plate armor, more befitting of a common soldier or mercenary than a noble lord, fits over dark green quilted cloth hood and breeches with deep brown leather belts securing a number of pouches, wands, and accoutrement. A curved hornblade (i.e., a scimitar) emitting a faint light is scabbarded across his back with a heavy, oaken shield overtop.
Psychological Description:
Ilir is typically quiet and reserved, preferring to listen than draw attention to himself. When he does speak, his words are usually sparing and direct. Though, he wears his heart on his sleeve and often does a poor job of disguising his emotions. His deep voice has the occasional note of dry humor. He is open-minded and greets those of (almost) any race or background with his oft seen soft smile. He is slow to trust, but those he counts as friends, he is unshakably loyal and goes out of his way to be dependable.
Moniker:
“Leafwarden of the Green Triad” is a reflection of his duties: he is not a preacher, but an indomitable guardian of the Forest and devoted member of the Green Triad’s clergy.
Religious Views:
Ilir is a devout follower of the Green Triad, equally revering Silvanus, Mielikki, and Eldath. However, it is Silvanus, the leader of this verdant triumvirate, that is his patron and personal father figure. From Silvanus, Ilir holds the cycle of life and death as sacred. While he understands that both life and death have their place in the this cycle, his Neutral Good alignment makes him view the machinations of Evil doers as a threat to the sacred cycle itself.
His attitude and personality is well-suited to Silvanus’ priesthood: reserved, observant, and calculating. He seeks to anticipate the movements of the Forests’ enemies and prefers to oppose such threats through indirect means rather than a direct confrontation.
From Mielikki, Ilir believes strongly in her core tenet of freedom. To him, the Balance sought by the Green Triad is achieved through freedom of will, of movement, and of spirit. As a tribute to his devotion to the Forest Queen, Ilir wields the goddess’ favored weapon, a hornblade (i.e., a scimitar).
From Eldath, Ilir adheres to her teachings of patience and harmony. He seeks to understand the bigger picture before acting, often reminding himself of a saying taught to him in during his youth: “One must not lose sight of the Forest by focusing on a single tree.”

Relics & Keepsakes
Cenkrad’s Favor (Heavy Shield - Heirloom): This deep green heavy shield, marked with the subtle embossed outline of an oakleaf, was presented to Ilir by the leader of the Emerald Knights, Captain-General Cenkrad, on the morning he departed Pilgrim’s Rest. Forged by the order’s greatest smith, it bears the craftsmanship typical of the Emerald Knights: simple, but reliable, and serviceable.
Petrified Oakleaf Holy Symbol (DMFI Created): A small, petrified oak leaf with a hollow core containing a mixture of tears from a celestial charger and water from an Eldathyn grove. This divine token, given to Ilir by ‘Hawk of the Lady’ Patricia Mossward during his Ordination into the greenleaf priesthood, symbolizes his faith and devotion to the verdant triumvirate. Ilir uses the token as his holy symbol, often hanging from his belt within quick reach.
Leeta’s Lucky Coin (Amulet - DM Faith Reward): This amulet sports a golden coin on the chain. Handed out by the High Lady Priestess of Tymora Leeta on Nightal 6, 1361 DR, it is blessed to protect the wearer and sport his luck, when things are dire. Further, just knowingly wearing this amulet provides confidence, that luck never leaves ones.
