In response to this notice, members of The Triad and Red Knight have taken up arms in an effort to resist those enforcing this unjust order. To those who find themselves fearful and without hope, know that aid and protection will be freely given. Though I speak only for myself, I have faith in the compassion and benevolence of The Heartlands. Many will rally to this call, offering assistance and sanctuary to those in need.
Let it be known that any word reaching The Temple of Torm in Baldur's Gate will be met with swift action. Paladins of The True Faith will respond to all who seek rescue from this blasphemous "law" concocted by the political evils of Amn.
To the people, adventurers, and faithful of The Heartlands, these mage hunters have brought death and suffering to countless innocent villages, even pursuing refugees far beyond Amn's borders. Though some may be misguided, the evil they have committed cannot be excused or ignored. I urge you to publicly offer refuge and aid to those fleeing the butchers of Amn. Place strict probation upon any bounty hunter affiliated with The Merchant's Domain, for they have attacked paladins who sought to protect children in the name of their mandate. If you fear direct involvement, you may forward any such needs to Torm's church of Baldur's Gate.
To those willing to stand against these atrocities, Alexander Marshal of Baldur's Gate and Sister Ashenie of Ilmater's Sanctuary have already taken bold stands against these evils.
